Have had more than a few meals here. The food is always terrific and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The environment is simple and tasteful. Nice selection of wines if that’s your thing. Not cheap, but not unreasonable, and the return is well worth it. Enjoy.

Young waitress tried her best to do a good job, but the food was awful. Baked clams were sitting in a yellow liquid. The king Salmon was poorly cooked, probably previously frozen, and tasteless. The Parmesan Chicken Piccolo was a disaster. The breading which didn’t adhere to the chicken was so salty it couldn’t be consumed. The chicken was adequate. The roasted brussel sprouts were salty and mushy. There was no taste of Marsala at all and maybe there were two tiny mushrooms. The mashed potatoes were tasteless. We will not be returning.

As ever, the food is very good and the service attentive while never being obtrusive. The bar can be crowded, but very convivial.

It was restaurant week so it was a prix fixe menu at $46 per person. The value was just not there. Portion sizes were small for both the appetizer and entree. We expected a culinary adventure with creativity, tastiness, and heartiness, but found the dishes to be unremarkable, bland, and quite ordinary for the price. However, the service was very good and the ambiance was nice. We may come back, but given the uninspired menu choices and blandness of the food, we are not motivated to go out of our way, especially when there are so many other great restaurants in the area offering better menu choices, taste, and value.

Salmon was soft and a little undercooked. Baked clams were good, salad was fine. The lamb chops were ok at best. Waiter was super and very accommodating as was the bartender. Wish the food was better because it’s a cool spot.
