   Being across the aisle from the tables at the window, the view was awesome. The hostess and our waitress were friendly and welcoming. The piano player was filling the room with jazzy holiday tunes and the buffet was constantly replenished. We liked the included drink with the amazing variety of carefully prepared, fresh dishes. We loved the ricotta blintzes, beef and potatoes, salmon, pepperoni with brie, and bouillabaisse. The variety of delicious desserts wowed us, too. The bundt cake was amazing with a frosting that had just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess. Even though our reservation was at 1:45 (brunch hours were listed as 9-2}, the staff made sure that the service and food quality was five-star. We look forward to bringing our out-of-town kids' families the next time they visit.

   It took a very long time to receive our food that was ordered i.e. French toast and Waffles. Also, I had to request orange juice twice before it finally came. My server was polite an apologize stating she had a large table of 20 upstairs, this should have been assigned to someone else. The supervisor should have assisted if they were overbooked. Also, the waitress who was providing the drinks was not friendly at all.

   We had a great buffet experience, as expected. The food was high quality and delicious There was great variety with several new salads offered. The service was very good, but when a 10 top was seated next to our 4 top the service slowed down a bit. This was an excellent way to celebrate my birthday and spend time with friends. We will definitely return.

   We always love Pier W. Our waiter, Alexis was terrific. The service was exceptional and we so enjoy the piano in the evening… Unfortunately the food didn’t measure up for two of us. The pork chop was very salty and overwhelmed by the sauce. One of us had the tuna which was good but the rice that accompanied it was literally cold. Still one of our favorites in NE Ohio.

   Restaurant Review: A Perfect Celebration for My Fiancé’s 24th Birthday Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at Pier W, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. We were there to celebrate my fiancé’s 24th birthday, and from the moment we walked in, everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of elegance and comfort. The staff went above and beyond to make the night special, starting with a warm greeting and a surprise birthday acknowledgment for my fiancé. The food was phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We started with the calamari as our appetizer, it was the best I have ever had. I got the Grilled Mahi as my entree and my fiancé got the Chef’s special (Swordfish). Both dishes were above and beyond. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into each plate. What truly stood out, though, was the personal touches. At the end of the meal, the staff brought out a complimentary dessert for my fiancé. We also enjoyed complementary champagne with our meals. This was our first visit, but it certainly won’t be our last. Pier W made this milestone birthday celebration absolutely perfect, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. If you’re looking for amazing food, stellar service, and an unforgettable experience, this is the place to go!

   We celebrated my best friend’s 65th birthday and loved the entire experience. From excellent service in the bar with amazing calamari to dinner with a fantastic view of the city skyline, everything was fantastic. Our server was attentive and friendly with perfect recommendations for our entrees. My girlfriend had the bouillabaisse and couldn’t stop exclaiming how delicious it was. My cooked to perfection walleye was out of this world. I wish we lived closer because I would eat at Pier W a LOT more often

    I had a first date here tonight and it was awesome. My server, Rachel, was outstanding! Very Attentive, but also gave my date and me plenty of space and time to get to to know each other and most importantly never rushed us! We even commented to each other how terrific and cognizant of our date Rachel was. My date’s name is Rachel as well… Even the busboy gets great reviewed from us, sorry I didn’t catch his name. Great food and atmosphere! The piano was an incredible touch. Next time I’ll ask for a table by the lake… I had no idea the view of downtown Cleveland was available, as I drive up from Columbus to eat here. We’ll be back for sure!! Thanks! Chris Sanford
