Plumeria overall was a disappointment though all the staff from the Valets, waitstaff and hosts were friendly. We were given the opportunity to be seated on the terrace as there were several tables available. I noticed all the tables had a plant (instead of flowers) except ours. Our waiter, though nice, wasn't very observant. Our used cutlery was removed but not replaced. It took a while to replace it. I saw many diners receive warmed small wet towels. None was offered to us. There was a good selection of food though no butter fish which was on the menu and one of the reasons I decided on Plumeria. Butter fish is my husband's favorite fish and going to Plumeria was my Valentines Day gift to him. That was disappointing. The roasted pig was cold, not flavorful and tough. The carved beef was average at best. Dinner was saved by the abundance of raw fish offering like sushi and sashimi which was fresh, and flavorful and the desserts were wonderful. There was a nice selection from tarts to my favorite, bread pudding. Final thoughts overall; at that price point the experience was disappointing, especially so because it was a gift to my husband.

The Valentine’s Day buffet was incredible! I ate two helpings of the delicious smoked salmon and three helpings of prime rib. The excellent food paired with the amazing beachside views make this restaurant simply the best!

Dinner was great! Not too crowded for a valentines dinner.Food was tasty. We valeted our car. We waited 25 for our car. When we finally got home we couldn’t find our car key fob. We searched the car interior for 30 minutes. We finally called the hotel valet. They apologized because they were supposed to tell the customer where the key is located. They couldn’t tell us where the key could be. We searched again the next morning and found it hidden under the windshield wiper! Luckily we parked the car inside our garage. We were upset and let the hotel know our disappointment and to let them know that it’s not a good practice to leave the keys there. Luckily it didn’t fly out and onto the street while we drove home.
