I recently had dinner here there were several holiday parties going on at this venue as well, and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The valet service was a disaster. I initially chose not to valet my car, but the valet staff assured me I could park anywhere for $8. However, when I parked, a valet came over and informed me that my spot was reserved for trucks, even though several other cars were parked there. Later, when I was ready to leave, the valet had blocked off an entire section of vehicles, telling us we had to wait for them to move the car. This was exactly why I chose not to valet in the first place—I didn’t want to wait. The valet staff was also rude and unhelpful, even attempting to gesture for me to make a 20-point turn to get around a blocked car. Given that there were private parties going on, it might have been better for them to close for the night rather than overextend their service capabilities. As for the food, it was underwhelming. The lobster tail was bland, and the butter served with it lacked flavor. The filet was subpar and certainly not worth the premium price. To top it off, the service felt rushed from the moment we sat down. It was clear they were eager to turn the table, making us feel like we weren’t being given the time to enjoy our meal. The drinks were ridiculously overpriced, which only added to the overall disappointment. While our table offered a great view, it felt like we were paying more for the novelty of the location and the scenery than for the food and drink itself. For the price, I'd much rather spend my money at a place like Ruth's Chris, where both the food and service are consistently top-notch. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this venue. Very disappointed, I had been wanting to eat here since I was a kid, every time we passed by on the freeway. We tried last year, but we were unable to get a table without a reservation.

Terrible parking and valet service. Decent food and drinks but overpriced. Not worth the long wait to get into parking lot and wait to be seated even with a reservation.

I normally like Pomona Valley Mining Co. when they are on the regular menu. But I would not go back for the Thanksgiving buffet. We had a 5:45pm reservation but still had to wait an hour for a table. The food was mostly cold and subpar, especially compared to their regular food. The people were pleasant and the dessert was delicious.

The thanksgiving buffet does not disappoint!! This is my families 4th year celebrating Thanksgiving at Pomona Valley Mining Co. The food is delicious, seasoned perfectly, wide variety, not just the simple turkey dinner.. prime rib, salmon, bbq ribs, and lots of sides and full salad bar to choose from!!

I’d been to the PVMC three times prior for Thanksgiving. This time it was not good. Firstly, we waited for nearly an hour despite having a reservation for a party of 3. The people who called parties to their table would call the name out in a very crowded, noisy space in which it was nearly impossible to hear. The situation was made worse by the very unnecessary, loud music coming from the bar. As we waited, we overheard the wait staff remark that they “were out of silverware.” Many table were emptying but new customers were not being seated. The food was marginal at best. Funny dressing, tasteless mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with excessive garlic. Again, way too loud music in the dining area also. Clearly everyone was working their hardest but these issues stem from management errors and oversights. Very overpriced regarding quality of food and service. I was glad to get out of there.

Attended the Thanksgiving buffet. I was disappointed at the quality of the food. The service could have been better. Maybe they were too busy, but for the price I expected better.

Food was good but waited over an hour to be seated despite having a reservation. All in all though, good experience, good selection, hardworking staff and great value. I will go back.
