We know the word "fusion" has been wielded about to justify everything from Hula Burgers to Mexican lasagna. But the East-meets-South brand of fusion happening at Poor Calvin's? It's creative; it's innovative; and it's probably unlike anything you've tasted in the ATL. After working in kitchens around the world, Calvin Phan wanted to shake things up a little. And so, into the mac 'n cheese, the Thai spices went. Now, Calvin's giving Southern staples, like sea bass and fried chicken, a decidedly creative Asian-inspired twist (and a nip of spice, too). He has created innovative dishes, approached in much the same way, leave the hands of Calvin Phan day in and day out. His dedication and attention to detail are evident in each dish and dessert. You won't be disappointed.

I’ve been going to Poor Calvin’s since I moved to Georgia and I can attest that everything is always amazing from start to finish. Food was delicious and staff service is always above and beyond.

Great food. Jojo was a wonderful server and the ambiance was great. A boutique vibe with cool seating and a nice bar. Intimate with great vibes.

My friend and I went to Poor Calvin’s for the first time and it did not disappoint! We went on a Sunday night and it was packed! Which was a good sign. Our waitress Ashley was so sweet and gave us recommendations on the menu and answered all our questions. The crab beignets were to die for and the dumplings too! Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu.

The food was absolutely delicious! Our waiter Justin was fabulous!!! He knew about EVERYTHING on the menu. He made sure we were taken care of and recommended some amazing options. 10/10

The owner's are fantastic!! We love James. The food is always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is very diverse and everyone is having a great time. The drinks are sooooo good. Dixie Derby is our favorite.

Everything was amazing as usual! I try to make it to Poor Calvin's at least 3 to 4 times a year! I enjoy the impeccable attention of the staff and the delicious entrees and appetizers. I've never had a bad experience. Thank you to Poor Calvin's team!
