We are happy to reopen on Thursday, August 6th. In line with CDC regulations, we can only accept parties of 6 guests or less. We require a face covering upon entry of the restaurant and we ask you are mindful of social distancing as much as possible.

Since opening its first restaurant in April of 2005, the Public House continues to strive to be a leader in the bar and restaurant industry. Public House currently encompasses restaurants in New York and National Harbor, MD. Public House's mission is to provide a consistent and quality product, while at the same time, a sophisticated and fun atmosphere to our guests. We are your neighborhood restaurant and bar with a nightlife scene. We believe that our guests should feel at home when they join us. We strive to provide an experience second to none in the hopes that they will find their way back home again.     Our food was very good, but we were surprised that we had to do all of the ordering on a website. As a result of not having a server, we never got refills of water. It’s awkward leaving a tip when the customer barely sees anyone except the people bringing the food you ordered on the website (but we did leave a tip because the food was good).

    The air conditioning wasn’t working. The floors were dirty and the table was sticky.

    Not utilizing servers to take customer orders and requiring one person to use their phone to place a virtual order was not a great experience. The staff could have taken the order quicker than the amount of time it took them to explain the virtual process. 👎 This process was not as intuitive as the more traditional fast food/quick serve apps many of us are accustomed to. It took four people to handle our small group of four, and more often than not, they had to be waived down to do the basics such as water/soda refillls. Fortunately, the food quality was quite good, but the process to order drinks/food made a leisure event somewhat stressful.

    Menu, ordering and paying all by app so little chance to ask about the dishes. Large portions so we took home enough for a second meal. Food taste is neither bad nor great.

    I would never recommend this RESTURANT the food was not edible and ordering on your phone is like eating at a fast food restaurant

    I'm so surprised that a restaurant that takes reservations can't even bother to hand you a menu nor take your order. They need to switch to a counter service model versus requiring people to scan a QR code at their table and then negotiate their website to place their own order. For example, our appetizers came out after our food because we placed our order at the same time I guess? The food was edible but not something I would suggest returning for. The staff seemed annoyed that we were there. A drink handed me over someone else's head was dumped down my sleeve. Another large and LOUD party next to us made it almost impossible to hear ourselves think, and other than that the large restaurant was fairly vacant.

    We visited for brunch after MagFest. The service was prompt and courteous, the food was pretty great, and we were in a room in the back so it was calm and quiet. Only sad part was they were out of Coffee because apparently someone didn't order enough inventory. Truly shocked a restaurant can be sold out of coffee on Sunday at 1:30pm. Otherwise it was a great time.

    I made a reservation and was excited about getting my party of six in with such ease. Once we arrived, I understood why it was so easy. The table we were placed at was dirty and after waiting about 20mins were informed we’d need to order our phone virtually. WHAT!?!?$ Our party of six promptly gathered our belongs and headed for the door. Dinner at Red Stone was amazing! 🤣🤣

    I am not sure why we had a server. You are told to order for yourself and your server just brings your food. They don't check on you to ensure you are not having issues ordering. The food was just so-so. The steak was salty and unevenly cooked. This is my second time giving them a try and it is my last!
