    My friends and I recently dined at 1123 Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The menu offered a nice variety of options, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. Special mention goes to the Chesapeake Seafood and Grits, Chicken Fried Devil Eggs and the Chicken Fried Bacon—everything was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The staff was also knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations for both food and drinks. The ambiance added to the experience, creating a cozy yet refined setting that made the meal even more enjoyable. Thank you, 1123 Restaurant, for an exceptional dining experience. We'll definitely be returning soon and recommending you to others!

    I had a delightful experience at this restaurant. Brunch was delicious, I recommend the catfish and grits, and the Chesapeake. Service was excellent! The only complaint is the music was too loud for brunch!

    We had a 7pm reservation and by this time they were out of lots of things on the menu. Ultimately this affected our experience, however our server was amazing. She was extremely apologetic for the limited menu and was very attentive. Unfortunately, I don’t know that I will return or recommend this establishment, especially for the price point of the restaurant.

    Food quality and service has been top-notch. They’re are still new and testing certain dishes out. With that said, there were a couple items I’ve had that didn’t hit the spot, and hopefully they’ll make adjustments. Nonetheless, MOST of the items were excellent and warrant return visits. They accept feedback and seem to be poised to find the perfect balance between such an unorthodox menu and the diverse palettes of their guests’. So far, it appears that Chef Tobias is on to something special, and I’m here for the journey.

    First off, I LOVE Chef Tobias! I’m a faithful Hincho House patron and I frequent 1123 for brunch. This was my first time doing dinner at 1123, and in full honesty I wasn’t wowed. The main reason I elected to do dinner at 1123 was because Hunch House no longer served Suishi, which is a favorite for me and my family. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed that the quality of the Suishi had declined. For whatever reason, the nori was extremely chewy to the point that I had to spit it out, and the flavor just wasn’t on point with the fire roll or any of the rolls to be honest ( we had the Suishi boat). The seafood noodles were basically the same Asian noodles from Huncho House, just less spicy. I specifically asked the waitress if it was the same and she said no. The Chicken entree also lacked flavor. I was wondering why it was even on the menu? It just seemed out of place. Ironically, the Asian shrimp were not on the menu, but the them is supposed to be Asian inspired. The fries were good. The drinks were ok. The service is always phenomenal. All in all, I would not visit 1123 for dinner again. But I highly recommend for brunch.

    Mom was such a professional. Precious was a pleasant bartender, Sierra was an absolute pleasure as a waitress. The food was delicious and prices were good. Such a great experience and everyone seemed happy to help each other. Great Experience overall.
