We went there on New Year's Eve and enjoyed their pre-fixe menu. The steakhouse is absolutely beautiful, and the servers were all very friendly. The only downside was that they maintained a 90 minute dining limit (I believe due to the holiday), which is totally understandable. However, we weren't initially greeted for at least 5 minutes, where we were offered water. Then another 5 or so minutes passed before they took our drink orders... which then took at least 10-15 minutes to be delivered. After that, all of the courses (7!) were EXTREMELY rushed, and my steak course was actually cleared before I had finished the mashed potatoes. It's not a huge deal, and I would go back, but I wish they were more prompt at the front of the meal so it didn't feel like we were getting shooed out of the restaurant. All of the food was great though, with perhaps the exception of the duck breast, which just wasn't crispy enough for me (my husband didn't mind it thought). All in all, I would definitely go back.

Menu for NYE was very limited. When booked online it gave option to reserve for NYE package or standard. Thinking “standard” was regular menu we booked. Food on menu for the night was not of our preference therefore we only enjoyed half the meal.

Filet mignon was ordered medium, arrived very rare. The replacement was better, but too rare. And it was pretty bland, relying on the sauce for flavor. The 1700 steak sauce was ok. The garlic mashed potatoes were similarly bland. Others in our party experienced bland steak that was a bit tough, and lobster tail consisting of the shell stuffed with pieces of chopped lobster instead of the actual tail meat. Bread was only allowed after ordering, and just one piece at a time. I guess the restaurant wants to make sure diners don’t just drink, eat bread and leave. The main floor men’s room was closed for cleaning at 6pm (peak hour). The upstairs men’s room smelled of Marijuana. Now granted, the restaurant and hotel it was in can’t be the restroom police. But at these prices, I expect much higher quality food and generous service. If you’re looking for a high quality, upscale meal, go somewhere else.

The best steakhouse in El Paso. It is located in the Paso Del Norte hotel adjacent to the Dome bar. Spent a lovely evening in the Jack Black cigar room enjoying a pre dinner cocktail and cigar. The meal and service was exceptional. Expensive.

We were a party of four celebrating a birthday. We started our evening by arriving a few minutes early to enjoy a cocktail in the dome bar. It is always so special to relax and enjoy a drink there. Our table was perfect. We were quickly greeted by our server and offered water. We ordered a bottle of bubbly to celebrate and it was perfectly chilled and made the evening all the more special. I had the tomato bisque soup to start off the meal and it was delicious. The bread was super soft and tasted so good with the flavored butter. One member of our party ordered the fish special. It was perfectly prepared. Two of us decided to share the Wagyu ribeye with some extra sides. The kitchen perfectly separated the sides and the steak. The presentation was flawless and the food was delicious! One other member had the tenderloin and you can never go wrong with this cut of meat. Everything was perfect! Love to celebrate here! We will be back soon!
