   The food and service were excellent. The noise level is rather annoying…at times it was difficult to hear other parties at our table.

   We have come here since the first year they were open. The experience is always excellent! Our service with John was outstanding.

   -When making the reservation, I made a note to let the restaurant staff know we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. The hostess was the only person to acknowledge our special occasion. Even after mentioning it to our waitress, nothing special happened for my boyfriend, even though we watched her bring desserts with candles to other patrons celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. -Our waitress was overall...horrible. Her nose was running the entire service. She was constantly rushing by our table but rarely stopped to check on us. She knew nothing about basic cocktails. She seemed to write us off as a "cheap" table even though we ordered an appetizer, alcoholic beverages, and a steak entree each. -The manager swung by our table towards the end of the night but again, failed to acknowledge my boyfriend's birthday, even though I watched him check the reservation notes. He spent several minutes at every other table in the dining room but barely spent 15 seconds with us. -For $50, the steak was just okay. Disappointed in quality, taste, and presentation. Several better options in our area. In restaurants that make us feel welcome and appreciated.

   This was our 1st time dining at 1776. John was our server and he was amazing! All of our steaks were cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning soon!

   It was a magical evening for our family. Everything was perfect, the food, the service and we were delighted to talk with Tom the owner. This is the best restaurant in Rehoboth/ Lewes.

   The service was absolutely awesome. Our waitress was pleasant, informed and extremely nice. The owners are very tentative and really care about their customers. Also, personally, I happen to be physically challenged, and the staff were kind enough to help cut my steak and bite-size pieces. Lastly, 1776 steakhouse definitely knows how to treat their customers.

    Positives: The food was very good. The service was even better. Our waitress was extremely helpful and attentive. She patiently explained all the cuts of meat since our children had not had this experience prior. Negatives: The interior was very outdated. We did not like at all how had to stand in the front area very, very close to other parties while we waited for our table. I would assume that the tables near the front very annoyed.
