One of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Stephen our waiter was exceptional. A must for your trip to DC. We will be back! Thank you to the entire staff at 1789 for making our experience exceptional.

Our staff Tai made this experience exceptional. She was knowledgeable and friendly. The entire staff was, although they came by more than we care to ask if we were finished with our caviar, it was amazing none the less. Would dine again.

Our experience was absolutely amazing! The ambiance, cuisine and service was outstanding. Ty, our server, was accommodating, professional and a complete delight to have waiting on us. Thank you SO much, Ty for making our evening a night to remember.

I took my daughter to 1789 to celebrate her birthday. While the overall experience was enjoyable, the drinks were among the worst I've ever had. We both opted for specialty cocktails, but they fell short of expectations. Although our dinner was delicious, I expected more from a restaurant of this caliber.

We usually ask for and get a table in the main dining room near the fireplace. We were disappointed to not have our request fulfilled for what has become an annual event for us.

We all very much enjoyed our experience at 1789. We have a variety of cocktails, all of which were tasty. The small plates and entrees were also delicious.
