Named for the founding year of the City of Hope, 1913 is a place where every plate is thoughtfully curated to nourish one’s body, heart, spirit, and soul. Executive Chef Christian Eggerling and his diverse team of culinary talent make healthy food fun, sometimes fancy (because we all deserve it), but never boring. Fresh wild-caught seafood, locally sourced meat, garden-harvested vegetables, decadent desserts, curated wine list and craft cocktail program make 1913 the ideal destination for any occasion. I was thrown off by how this place was associated with the hospital, but this place is great. The food was great, the ambience was nice, and we enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend if you are looking to go out and grab a bite and drink or just want to sit at the bar and watch the game.

We love this restaurant. We have eaten here 4 times in the past 2 weeks and have always been able to choose from a variety of great selections, of which all have been excellent. We love the service and we feel safe while dining here, during our current medical precautions. It’s a wonderful place to dine.

Excellent Menu, food, service & atmosphere. We love this restaurant. Everything we have ordered has been exceptional. We highly recommend this restaurant, especially for those who have a short term or long term immune compromised lifestyle.
