   This was my third time going to 42nd street bar and grill and they never disappoint. I get the same amazing waiter Cameron. I have been there once every year for a special occasion, and this year I went for the blessing of my future marriage. The service was what really made this happen, so happy to have chosen this place for my special events. Never ceases amaze me.

   Let me first say that we love this restaurant. We have dined here at least 5 times, the first time, they had just opened. We have had good friends and family join on several occasions. The food had always been exceptional…until last night. My husband and I shared oyster Rockefeller and the beet tartar salad. He had the short rib special and it was delicious. I had the blackened grouper. I have had it in the past and it was perfectly cooked. Last night the fish was overcooked and had little to no blackened season on it. The brussel sprouts and small potatoes that accompanied it, were wonderful. We then split the delicious salted caramel cheesecake. We both had the blood orange margaritas, which were delicious. We will be back!

   The restaurant was excellent as usual. We have eaten here many times and have yet to be disappointed. I had the filet and truffle and it was so tender and flavorful. My husband had the NY strip which he had cooked medium, which was a little too much for a steak of this thickness. We shared a beets salad appetizer which was very good. They have a decent bottle of sparkling wine at a fair price. Overall, food, service, and ambience was excellent!

   Calamari appetizer was delicious. Not deep fried and very light along with tempura spinach. Seafood with marbled potatoes and vegetables was also great tasting. My husband had the rib eye which he said was "good but a little chewy". Very nice atmosphere and friendly, on the ball service. Will return but probably not for steak. Seafood is a plus I think!!!

   For a perfect date night, 42nd Street is a must-visit. The ambiance is cozy and romantic, ideal for an intimate evening. The food was outstanding—truffle & tender filet mignon, all beautifully presented. Husband had the ribeye which was beautifully cooked to perfection. Our waitress, provided exceptional service, expertly guiding us through the menu and drink selections. Even telling us what food was passing by because it all smelled like heaven, and the presentation was incredible on each plate. Overall, 42nd Street Bar and Grill offers an unforgettable dining experience with delicious food and fantastic service. We will be returning!!

   Always excellant service, food presentation. Because it is such a small venue the noise level varies. Your romantic dinner can be interrupted by a large table next to you. The food has always been top shelf.

    I had a special entree of sea bass over fried polenta and it was good. My husband has the beef Wellington and it tasted good but was a little chewy. We usually love bread at restaurants but this one serves cut up pita or naan which was not good. I think the prices are reasonable compared to some MB places.
