We went because of the high ratings and were not disappointed. As others have commented, the chef came out and greeted us and talked about the food. Our server, Carlos, was helpful and attentive. Very welcoming, outstanding service and awesome food. Thank you!

We had a great time at A Mar y Sierra. The service and food were excellent. We tried several appetizers and they were all unique and delicious. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant and other ones in the neighborhood.

This was one of our favorite meals we’ve had in PV. Truly a hidden gem! The beef cheek was OUT OF THIS WORLD and the beet salad and crab cake were equally as delicious. I would recommend this place strongly to anyone looking for fine dining with a casual atmosphere

We have been to A Mar y Sierra twice and it is truly a hidden gem! This is a MUST to check out when in Puerto Vallarta. The waiter is amazing, friendly and attentive. Great cocktails and a good selection of bottled beer as well. The food is some the best food we have ever eaten. I have nothing bad to say about any of the food we have eaten, just wish we had bigger stomachs to enjoy more! Do not skip dessert....both time we had the ice cream flight....AMAZING! Unique flavour options that make you want to buy a whole tubfull. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Puerto Vallarta.

This food is superb. It is not your typical Vallarta food experience. The flavors and spices are divinely unique. The chef is enormously talented. Service is EXCELLENT! For all you foodies - GO!

Excelente lugar! Un tesoro en Puerto Vallarta, la comida 1000/1000, la atención excelente, la calidad de alimentos y los precios son perfectos. Consejo: dejen que el personal les haga recomendaciones de platillos es una maravilla. Excellent place! La oferta gastronómica con la nueva temporada es increíble, tuvimos la mejor comida en mucho tiempo! De entrada el calamar chipiron relleno de pork belly en salsa tatemada, vegetales en mole de pimientos, plato principal Atún Takaki, camarones en curry-pipian, de postre panacota de cajeta y plátano macho, deliciosa! Todo excelente demuestra técnica y una extraordinaria experiencia culinaria!

Definitivamente una muy buena experiencia, la calidad de los alimentos, cocteles y servicio fue excepcional, el área donde esta ubicado el restaurant, en estos momentos esta en reparaciones por lo tanto no ayuda mucho al ambiente exterior, sin embargo dentro es totalmente acogedor. La chef y su equipo tienen una muy buena propuesta culinaria, los postres también altamente recomendables. en resumen buena propuesta culinaria a precios aun accesibles.
