   We were very much looking forward to ABSteak. We had an 8.30pm reservation. We arrived approx. at 8.20pm, our table was not ready (understandable) and we were taken to the bar area. Bar was not busy for a Friday night, it took about 10mins before we were asked about drinks and this was after my wife gestured to someone. Another 20mins went by, and we went and asked about our table. It seemed the maitre d forgot about us, it was another 5mins before we were seated, around 8.55pm. We ordered appetizers, and considered mains. Appetizers were very good. We ordered mains. After our first main was brought to us, our waiter disappeared, so we started to cook our steak, upon their return there was some confusion as the waiter was supposed to cook the main. Upon our second main, we were informed that it was last call, for everything, food, drinks, and dessert... My wife was shocked! We hadn't even begun to eat our second main before it was last call. When she asked our waiter what was going on, they just replied "the floor manager said it was last call and they were being militant" about it.   We expected more from ABSteak, the food quality, presentation, and taste was amazing. But being told it was last call at 9.30pm on a Friday, and only 40 or so minutes into our dining experience really killed the vibe of the evening.  Suggest making an earlier reservation to avoid such an experience.

   The decor is so well done and the restaurant looks amazing! The quality of meat was superb as well. Drinks were tasty and the drink menu was extensive. My one qualm is we had a reservation for 6 guests and we were seated at a large table with another party. Usually they give separate tables or even a divider so it was def a diff experience. They also had private party rooms that weren’t in use for the duration we were there. We ordered 3 diff types of meat and all were so yummy. Give the yukhoe a try. It’s so well presented. And the dwaengjang jiggae was so perfectly seasoned. Overall the food, drinks, and vibes were great!

   I enjoyed AB Steak by Chef Akira Back. 5 weeks old and you felt it with the whole experience. Highlights for me were the 45 Day Dry Aged Rib Eye and The AB Pizza. I will go Back give it another go.

   Our server was amazing and fun, we loved her!! The hostess was also really nice in updating my reservation last minute. The restaurant was also super beautiful. Food was super good!

   Not sure if this was truly a Korean restaurant. The side dishes were so few and had to order everyting a la carte, including rice. Meat was not even enough for one person after 2 orders. Soup did not taste like Korean soup.

   Jay aka Jeremiah was the best server ever. Never had such a fabulous experience. We were celebrating a birthday and Jay made it extra special. We really appreciate you, Jay. We wouldnt have had such a memorable experience without you so thank you. Food-wise, AMAZING! The snow flower kkotsal is to die for. It melts in your mouth. The meat cuts are so delicious and reminds me of Korea. Amazing amazing hands down and cant wait to go back!

   Three and a half hour dinner! WAY TOO LONG!! Your Server/Cook will attend to other tables in between coming to you and cooking! Too much time in between, not good!! Plus the menu is limited! I would rather they just bring me all the meats and let me cook them myself! This is a One and Done experience for me! I can say that I ate there but wasn’t particularly impressed!!
