   I made a reservation at this restaurant on 11/21for me and my mom to celebrate her birthday. We were greeted with a friendly greeter, got to pick a nice table, and ordered our drinks and food and everything came within a reasonable time. Things began to take a turn south when it came to paying the bill. The server handed me the machine and I paid the bill and the machine indicated that the payment was successful but their machine was taking longer than usual. I informed the waiter and her then took 10 minutes to get back to us as he said he was going to troubleshoot, but instead was waiting on the other tables. We called another individual from the bar and he proceeded to ask me to pay again when I had already paid my bill. Things got really weird when he then asked me to whip out my TD bank account app to show him the confirmation number of my purchase, to which I reminded him that a confirmation number wouldn’t show up until at least 24 hours after the purchase, to which he disputed and disagreed. He then asked to take a picture of my private banking information to which I declined. He then insisted on watching me navigate my TD account which was a violation of my privacy on an extreme level, but I did not want to be double charged for a dinner (mind you a birthday dinner) so I told the server to check the machine again and with one click of a button he then says “Oh, it just got approved now”. It’s a shame because the food and service was wonderful until this point, and it’s a shame that my moms birthday had to end this way. There was no compensation for the almost half an hour of time lost, to which we were just given a pathetic “sorry” and nothing more. I don’t see myself returning to dine in at least for the foreseeable future. Please let your workers know that an invasion of privacy to this or any level for that matter is not a part of a fine dining experience at all. I’m sad to leave this review because we were looking forward to this dinner all week.

   Second time at this location. My comparison is with last year’s visit. Quite disappointed the second time considering the yorkville location is michelin star level, expected some sort of competition/comparison which I felt last year in December at least. I went for my parents anniversary last night and the service was poor, no one came to ask how the food was, plus they seemed to have an issue to switch plates for mains after our appetizer plus I had to ask for the wet towels after paying bill.

   The only place I visited so far in GTA which is really great at its food. Everything we ordered from starters to main course was amazing and really loved the freshness of each menu item. Only disappointment was the chocolate cake we ordered as its was my husband’s b’day. Cake was very bland and could not really taste chocolate at all. But I can ignore this and go again next time as their other menu items is to the point. And do try chefs choice cocktail. I had one with jalepeno in it and it was spot on. All and all a very good place to treat your taste buds.

   My fiancé and I have been going to this location for years and had wonderful service. However, this time, they changed the menu - it’s brought the chic level down by half. The quality of the menu dropped, the waiters all used to wear suits- that isn’t the case any more. The menu used to be printed out on fancy paper, now it’s on glossy paper and printed in font that makes it extremely cheap. The food quality is good, but honestly, this used to be fine dining and does not feel that way at all anymore. I’m disappointed with how it turned out. I also don’t like that they added Hakka food to half their menu. This wasn’t what Adrak is for at its core.

   Innovative Indian fare, some unique dishes not commonly seen n large Indian restaurants. Upscale feel with a bar

   We got a cake for my dad and called them in advance if we can cut ir and they said its not allowed but we can bring it inside and they can keep it in the fridge for us. We took the cake inside to show our parents who were already there waiting for us. Since the time I entered till the table 5 servers asked me to take the outside and that it is not allowed. I had to answer all 5 of them separately to tell them we had already called in advance and will give them the cake to store for us once we have shown it to our parents. It was very frustrating. Also while booking the table I had requested them for doing something special for my dad’s birthday and they did nothing!

   Great Food , Amazing ambience. Didnt like service, was my wife bday and requested for cake when reserved for a table. We were suprised to be charged for it, for a fine dining restaurant, its always taken care by restaurant, but not here.

    Food was amazing but the service was slow and extremely inattentive. We ordered initially but were never asked if we wanted to order another drink/more food/wanted water refills/etc. The restaurant was not super busy either. Of course the food is so good (all of our dishes were amazing and cooked to perfection) which was the only highlight.
