Ainsworth Midtown offers a vibrant atmosphere with "relaxing aura" and "delicious food." Highlights include attentive staff and enjoyable brunch experiences. The food was decent but I expected better for the price. The waitress said one thing and the food came back another (not sure if she was trying to upsell to get a bigger tip or what but I was annoyed). Our waiter (Ashley V I believe) had zero customer service skills which was shocking. She seemed annoyed by every little thing and never checked on us once which is fine but when I’m paying over $10 for a tip, I expect someone nice and not someone who seems hassled by her job. I have worked in the food industry and understand having a bad day which is fine but I’ve never once taken it out on respectful, easy customers. She wasn’t bad, she just seemed annoyed and rude the second we walked in which was odd because we were respectful the entire time. We came at 5pm and the place was practically empty so not sure why she was so hassled.

All our drinks came in plastic cups like I was at a fraternity party. Not mad about plastic cups but when a Tito’s Redbull is $20, I kinda want a real glass. Don’t think that’s too much to ask for

My husband and I are from AL and in NYC for our wedding anniversary. I tried to surprise him with reservations to watch our beloved BAMA guys in the 3rd weekend in October game but The reservation process to watch the Alabama vs TN game was confusing and I messed up. Hostess April, server Matt, and server Taylor were phenomenal! April was able to move us to a booth in the BAMA area and we had an absolute blast! The food was good and I have to be gluten free, so feeling like Matt took it seriously, made the eating experience even better. The wings were baked and the sweet potato fries were fantastic! My husband had the nachos and loved the presentation! The only negative was the music; way too loud, but also, we’re 50, so we old. THANK YOU AND ROLL TIDE!!

I was expecting the Ainsworth to be more fun with a friendlier staff. I would never bother going there again even if it was free. We had a terrible table with zero service so we had to walk to the bar (friendly there ) and fetch our own beers- well we did save on tips. The appetizers we had were great but we were not sticking around to order dinner, sorry. The hostess up front was so pathetic and self absorbed that you would be better off with a sign that says "Seat Yourself ". Sorry to be so negative but I was really looking forward to a football afternoon with my son at the Ainsworth. Forget that.

Our server seems preoccupied with something as he was very fast every when he took the order. Little attention was paid to the other things we needed. There were two other servers that were very attentive any time we called them. It was also very loud coming from the back. They were prepping for a game so that seemed to have all the attention.

The Ainsworth was such a great experience! Minus them not having what I was hoping to order they more than made up for it! The service was amazing and the food was impeccable! I will definitely be back and recommend the restaurant for dinner. I’m looking to try them for brunch as well!

We had a Groupon for brunch and it was a great deal. Our server was pretty good but she definitely should have come to check on us sooner than she did and more often. If you’re offering bottomless brunch how can you get a refill if you never come to check on the table? Anyways, the drinks ( red and white sangria) were strong and quite tasty. I usually like red better but I really enjoyed the white here. Somehow the restaurant ran out of Prosecco and the woman at the table next to us had a mix up of her drink order so I offered to take it. The poor woman couldn’t get a pineapple mimosa because apparently they ran out of the Prosecco and the mistake one was the last for the day. Oops, oh well. Not my fault. My date ordered the Ainsworth burger without egg and he really enjoyed it. My dish was the fried chicken and biscuits with sausage gravy. It was not what I expected at all but it was SO good. I would definitely order that again. All in all it was a nice experience and a great value with the Groupon. Thumbs up.

Went for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Food was above average but the best part was the ambience and the service. Our server Yvonne was attentive but gave us plenty of space to chill and enjoy the rooftop. Even though it was a hot day (and we dodged a thunderstorm!) we still got to enjoy their beautiful rooftop. I’ll be back to try one of their fabulous desserts!

Everything was great except they didn’t have anymore ribeye steaks and it was just after 5pm, so it was a little surprising.
