Enjoyed a great dinner on our first visit. Service was helpful and food wonderful. The restaurant is sleek and modern without catering to the influencer crowd. A great addition to DC.

Amazing food and service. We went on a snow day in dc and the vibes were kind of low and the seats were very uncomfortable. I needed a cushion. But would definitely go back and recommend to friends. I like going out to eat at places I couldn’t make the same at home. My cooking can’t come close to a kitchen & bar. Bravo

Nice atmosphere and quiet (hopefully because of sound system which is so hard to find in DC)... The service was slow and (brunch) food was ok... I will go back to check perhaps lunch menu and if I need a quiet place...

CDC George Madosky has the kitchen humming! The food is creative and deliciously tailored! Specifically, the lamb ribs are a must order item!

The food was beautifully presented, piping hot, and delicious. The portions are also sizable. The most amazing part of the evening was the service. The GM, Diana, constantly roamed the dining room supporting her team and ensuring that all guests were well tended. Our server, Cynthia, knew both the menu and the spirits list in equal measure and helped make our evening special. Can't wait to go back.

We tried out the new a.kitchen+bar at a busy time (Friday night during Restaurant Week) and were mostly pleased. Thumbs up for the cooking, the thoughtfully curated wine list and the very helpful and attentive somm. But not for the noise level, which started high and increased with the inebriation of the group at the next table. Service was a little rocky at the beginning, but recovered. I'd cheerfully go back, but I'd try to pick a less busy time.

I tried out this restaurant during Restaurant Week. I had the pansies appitizer and the black cod. Both were delicious. However, the cod was a small portion - about 4 oz. Because I was not immediately waited on the management deducted my glass of wine from the bill. That was not necessary, as my wait time was only about 10 minutes, but it was a nice gesture. I left an additional $10 tip to show my appreciation. Will I return? Yes. It is an easy 10 minute walk from my condo.

Went for Restaurant Week DC 2025. Food was absolutely amazing, but service was very slow and wasn't a very intimate place. Would definitely go again for the food, but I'd think very hard about it.
