   Absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Highly creative, flavorful dishes, beautiful decor, excellent cocktails and friendly, attentive service. The chocolate spice cake was extraordinary.

   Service was poor, food was atrocious, chilies. The chain restaurant is better.

   We got our reservation for outside seating. Weather was nice at first and sun was just beaming on us. We asked our lovely waitress if we could move. Got some ugly stares from the bartenders, and waitress in that section. I wish the fish was a bigger cut, the slaw overpowered the cod. Chicken and waffles were phenomenal. I would go back for that!

   I wanted to love this place. It took forever to get our drinks, not just the first round but the second round as well. When I say forever, literally 18 mins from ordering the drink to it arriving on the table. The food was blah, definitely not worth what we paid. Took forever to get even a box. The bathrooms had no TP or paper towels (we dined on a Saturday at noon). It was me and my friend, we split the bill by what we each ordered, the waitress got it completely wrong. When you are paying $16 per drink and $20 a plate for blah food, the least you expect is the bill to right. Almost everything went wrong. I can’t even say the place itself is cute. It has fake plants everywhere l, unlike other high end restaurants in Scottsdale with all real plants. Additionally, the music was being played from a speaker sitting on a table. Like a house party. Bring your prices down by half, and the place would be “ok”.

   Food was great however service/waitress was not attentive or personable. Took 30 mins to just get our drinks. On Valentine’s Day especially we expected more.

   Alma is one of our favorites. The food is amazing and service has always been excellent. Great ambience but at times the music was a little loud for conversation. But trust me, the food is really really good!!!

   Greeted nicely. Sat immediately. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. My cocktail (Situation-ship) was excellent. My husband ordered the Blackened Mahi Mahi...said it was fabulously good. My tinga chicken tacos were just okay, not much spice to them. Had a wonderful dinner and will retunr to try other things on the menu.

    What an amazing experience at Alma! They were swamped but Katie, Maddie and Ray gave us such outstanding service. Katie was so helpful before and during our time. Mere words are not enough to explain Ray’s personal attention with sharing new tequilas with us and how to drink them. I also enjoyed my tequila cocktail with the edible butterfly. Our food was top notch as well - butternut squash tacos, salmon tostadas, lobster quesadilla AND the warm blueberry cornbread. YUMMY! Go next time you are in Scottsdale. You will not be disappointed.
