    Alpenrose was just as charming as I imagined! Friendly servers, great decor and ambiance and great food! We shared the fondue appetizer-very tasty with a good flavor (not too strong but authentic!) as well as the schnitzel, a couple house salads (a great salad actually) and the apfel strudel. Everything was delicious, it’s a bit pricey for what it is but still worth the experience.

    Sitting inside is much warmer and cozy - I would have preferred the inside instead of covered patio .

    We have been coming here for years. The food, the presentation, the service is outstanding! It’s our favorite restaurant in Vail Village. I cannot recommend it enough. The food presentation is incredible. It’s all artistic and beautiful on top of the food being outstanding itself.

    Great little restaurant. Despite being extremely busy (they were literally turning away tons of walk ins) they managed the chaos well! Our server was excellent and the food came very quickly. Good was yummy and unique and the place is so quaint and fun! Great experience in Vail. This one’s definitely worth a visit!!

    I reserved a table a month in advance for 8 people indoor the restaurant, when we arrived they told me that there were no available tables indoor and they seated us on the patio where it was cold. Very unpleasant experience.

    Bakery items and menu are not what they once were. Lost a bit of the friendliness and authenticity to play to the Vail tourist crowd. Unfortunate drunk loud belligerent patron made everyone’s experience on this night less enjoyable
