Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. They had a gluten free pasta for one of us and my pasta was delicious. Our other diner really liked the chicken parm.

My fav dish there, Cacio e Pepe, was a bit disappointing. Way too much sauce. The Frito misto was OK. The Aperol spritz was fantastic!

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and our server was very good. The food overall was good but the rigatoni was subpar. It was completely dry with no residual sauce and was al dente++ Our son ordered chicken parm and a side of pasta. His pasta came out with our dinners, dry as well. He never received his chicken until we were completely finished eating our meals and after asking a few times. The server said the kitchen was backed up but we watched several other tables get food that ordered after us. I get things happen. I expected that a manager would be stopping by to apologize and offer something. Not so much. The people at the table next to us overheard us talking about it and told our waiter that they at least give our son a free dessert. Which they did. Seems like there is a disconnect somewhere.

Reservation for 2 on a busy Saturday. Sat us within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Polite and kind hostess staff. Waiter was very efficient but there was an extremely long wait between appetizers and entrees (long enough that my husband ordered a second glass of wine after being served the first to “accompany” his entree) I had the Bronzino which was Probably the best prepared fish I ever tasted. My husband had the veal chop which was so tender it melted in your mouth. Will chalk the long wait to the busy night (PITT game, penguins game, Raven’s fans in town. The line for Primanti’s was around the block) and will return.

Every dish was exceptional. Chef was superb. Staff was superb. Waiter was superb. View was superb with thanks to the maître d' who was very understanding and accommodating for a window seat. This is the third restaurant in this same location we’ve been to and unfortunately it was the worst. First, the hostess ignored us for five minutes while we waited patiently, not even an acknowledgment. Our waiter was very slow. The couple next to us had a different server. They arrived after us, had appetizers, entrees and paid/left before we got our food. When we complained, some random staff member came and said if we need anything. We later found out the was the manager but she never even introduced herself. On top of that the food was not great. Pasta was not cooked well and the meatballs lacked flavor. Such a great location but no restaurant has seemed to do well here…

This was my first time dining at this location, having previously eaten at the one in Fox Chapel. We were originally taken to a table in the back where many large tables were occupied, and it was very loud. So we asked to be reseated at a booth in the bar area. Our waiter seemed disterested throughout, and we had to go get a set of silverware off the bar to eat our dinner. The tuna tartare was very underseasoned. I got a pasta dish and added meatballs. It was underwhelming also. I remember really enjoying my meal and experience at the Fox Chapel location so I may or may not give this restaurant another chance. I'm a big fan of the restaurant group and frequent all of their sister restaurants. It was my birthday and thought I might get a small candy or sweet bite, but only got a candle stuck to a plate.
