   The food was good, but the service was very slow. We had to wait a longtime for someone to come and take our orders, the restaurant was too crowded and noisy.

   I was very disappointed with my dinner experience on Sunday evening. This was not my first time at Amal however it was by far the worst experience- which is unfortunate as I previously really enjoyed the elegance and high standards of this restaurant. There was a child birthday party in the back, with kids yelling and screaming and singing out loud- it felt like we were at a child's birthday venue. This is really unacceptable for Amal. The food was delivered moments after we ordered- which felt very rushed and it arrived cold. Eg.The humus was rock hard, as it was sitting outside for a while. The servers were in a rush to clear the table. The ambiance was very much as if you were sitting in a fast food restaurant- it lacked the fine dining, refinement and elengance that once existed at Amal. This is not the low standard we expect from a Charles Kabouth restaurant.

   Excellent food, ambience was nice, attentiveness of servers was great. Pricey, but I would come back brunch for 3 people with 2 apps, 3 main dishes and 2 cocktails came out to roughly $200 before gratuity. Planning on coming back here to try their dinner menu.

    The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Everything came out fast and fresh. Servers were attentive and ensured we always had what we needed.
