   Our server was fantastic! She made great recommendations for the table and our friend who has celiac. The food was tasty and the drinks were great. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

   Exceptional service from our server, bar tender and food runners. Couldn’t have asked for better. Food was delicious. A few plates reached us at a cooler temperature than I believe was intended. But all of the items we ordered were of excellent quality and flavorful. We’ll be back!

   Very good overall experience, love the new menu and all you can eat format for the small dishes. The service was impeccable: attentive, playful and informal. We had a great time, will return soon.

   Dined at AMBAR for lunch to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. We did the lunch small plate tasting and everything was exc lent . The spreads with warm pita were a fantastic starter and all equally enjoyable. All the vegetable dishes were excellent. We also enjoyed happy hour priced cocktails at 2 pm. Service was excellent and the wait staff was very kind and efficient. We all agreed that we would 100% return and there were some picky eaters in our midst.

   Having now been to both the Hill and Shaw locations 18 months apart, the quality of the food was consistent and absolutely delicious in both instances. The unlimited small plates option is fantastic for a nice occasion for folks who like to share. The service was great, and from front to back of the house, the staff seem to really care about not only the quality of food, but the dining experience as well. 10/10 would happily go back again and again, and would love to try their Happy Hour!

    This place is okay. Our service was slow and the food was mid, but the ambience was really beautiful. Very rustic. But for $40 it was not that great.
