   On my bucket list of place to visit.. visited on a Monday night and did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend to anyone wanting something different. Drinks were served quick but slow taking our food order. We did get plenty of nibbles waiting, bread sticks n olives.

   Has always been a pleasure coming here, catching up for a drink as our twice annual treat. Still lovely, but disappointed that the customers on the table across were able to bring in takeaway sandwiches and pick at them whilst sat there. I would question who they were to clearly be allowed to and given ‘special’ treatment. Would we be allowed to do this? I think not. It has taken away the exclusive feel that you pay to be there. Will we be returning? I think we can find far better for the price point.

   The history and the quality of the drinks are 5 star level, but the overall experience is really taken down a few notches by the loudness of the bar. Not at all helped by the pianist who was singing along into a mic that was playing through every ceiling speaker in the place.

   Alway good to get back for a place with a very good cocktails , all of them are great, well served, with a great standards.

   It was a wonderful experience, especially on arrival at the entrance to be greeted as a VIP at the beginning of our evening by a charming concierge. We had booked a table at the American Bar online with ease. We received a warm welcome by everyone and directed to where we needed to be. Tom, our server in the bar was charming and had a lovely personality. The pianist was brilliant and happy to play our requests. It was booked as a dream on our bucket list! And to begin celebrating our Ruby wedding anniversary. We couldn’t be happier and will reminisce forever. May be one day we will spend a few nights together to savour the luxury of The Savoy Hotel. You should all be proud to your hard work behind and in-front of house. Thank you.

   If you appreciate the history of cocktails, The American Bar at the Savoy is a must visit. While it is certainly and indulgence, the quality of the drinks is apparent, as is the professionalism of the waitstaff. It is well worth the cost to treat yourself to this truly unique experience.

    We had a fantastic time. We booked this as a date night for drinks and appetizers. Our server was great! She gave great recommendations and checked on us to confirm we had everything we needed and everything was to our liking. The piano player was great, and the atmosphere was sexy. We will go again, but perhaps we can try the restaurant for lunch next time.
