   We were seated outside and getting rained on, asked the host to move and he never responded. Sat there for 35 minutes before anyone brought water. After 45 minutes of not even having our drink order taken, we left. Seemed very understaffed, the one waiter I saw was also behind the bar making drinks.

   Had a great night at Americano! We were able to book a last minute table on Open Table and were also allowed to add one more when we arrived. All the staff were super friendly and helpful!! The restaurant has a great vibe and the food was delicious. The espresso martini's were good, but the wine list was a bit limited. Would definitely go back again!!

   Seemed like they were short staffed in the FOH but not BOH. Once we ordered, our appetizers came out 10 minutes before our drinks did. The food was decent but very standard with nothing making it stand out compared to many other bistros / American restaurants in Lincoln Park. The furniture and ambiance were nice, but the music varied drastically on whether it was super loud or pretty quiet.

   The waitress said it was her first day. She didn’t speak much English. We asked for no gluten, and we got a salad with bread on it. The service was very slow. The food was not very tasty. The drinks were watered down and mediocre.

   We reserved a table for a post-theatre early dinner, not realizing that Happy Hour was in effect. What's not to like about reduced rates on wine & a terrific charcuterie board?! In addition, we ordered the deviled eggs & tacos, which were excellent. Service was excellent. Our only small complaint was the volume level of the music - but it was reduced a bit upon our request. We enjoyed meeting Otto - one of the co-owners - who was engaging and informative. We will certainly be back!

   Beautiful and popular restaurant with excellent food. Met a partner, Otto Ade, who is committed to make the dining experience in the place exceptional. Bar appears to be a great meeting and conversational place.j
