   We were pretty disappointed by our first visit to Amour. First, the positives: the space is lovely. Very pretty. Nice ambiance. I think we all enjoyed our cocktails. The negatives: while very nice, our server was overly-attentive. We were there on the early side and the other tables had not filled up yet, but he kept checking back with us to place our order. The food was disappointing. The french onion soup was strange - it had an anise flavor to it - maybe some fennel was added? I want french onion soup to be as classic as possible when I'm at a French restaurant. The duck was lackluster and a bit chewy. The worst part was that the music was very loud when we sat down. Then it got impossibly louder? That's when we realized that it was live music and the performer was visiting tables and singing with a cordless mic. I just wish this had been mentioned on the website. It was unexpected. A photographer also came to our table and asked if we wanted a photo taken. It felt like we were at a vacation resort rather than a romantic dinner in WEHO. Definitely not our scene, but maybe we're just not the target audience for this restaurant.

   This is a very pretty restaurant with excellent service, but the food is just not that good, especially given the price. I ordered the gnocchi, which was browned on the outside. It therefore was not a gnocchi so much as mushier small roasted potatoes. I learned to cook gnocchi in Italy, and this isn't what I learned. I also had the steak tartare, which was hard to get through because it had the look of dog food. It tasted fine, but the texture and color were not anything I've ever experienced with steak tartare. The mousse dessert also was very disappointing - more of a bakery-type mousse rather than the dense, fresh mousse I'd expect from a pricey French restaurant. I would never go back here for the food, but having drinks in the lovely patio area would be nice.

   Great ambience and loved the booth seating. A very cute spot for v day dinner. We had the frog legs to start and they were pretty good. However, the entrees fell slightly short. The chicken dish’s rice was undercooked and the chicken itself was more bland that I would have liked. The salmon dish was good, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, a good experience given the occasion, but in no hurry to return.

   The food wasn’t as good as it should have been given the price point and reputation. We had the lobster pasta and filet. Neither of which were better than what would probably come out of a Chili’s. And it’s not like we’d dined on a particularly busy evening. The ambiance and service however were spectacular.

   This restaurant was everything I was looking for, beautiful & romantic, lovely French ambiance, delicious food, and great service. Our waitress Camelia was exceptional. We got the French onion soup (amazing and filling), the salmon, the carbonara (both so fresh), and the creme brulee that came to our table on fire. Such a fun night, recommend to any couple looking for a special date night.

   Amour is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the beautiful and elegant ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. The lighting was warm and romantic, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere. The food was outstanding—each dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive; our server was attentive and knowledgeable, helping us select a fantastic bottle of wine that paired perfectly with our meal.     I was very excited to try this new restaurant for my birthday. The food was good but I wish the service was better. the sever told me that I couldn’t order an other drink. That I can sit at the bar that their limited of 2 hrs to sit something like that? the host never told me that theirs a siting limited and the server took a long time to get my check and when I was trying to get my server attendant to cash out he was talking on the phone. Plus this restaurant it’s very pricey for this type of serves . Catch and perch gives me better service. Never coming back
