We invite you to embark on an immersive dining experience that bridges the rich cultural legacies of Andalucía, Spain, and Puerto Rico. Nestled at the gateway of Old San Juan, within the Alma San Juan hotel, Andaluz celebrates the deep historical ties between these two regions.

Our menu is a tribute to shared history with Moorish influence, blending the bold, sun-drenched flavors of Andalusian cuisine with the vibrant ingredients of Puerto Rico, locally and sustainably sourced. From the prized azafrán of Spain to the comforting sofrito of Puerto Rico, each dish tells the story of a culinary journey rooted in centuries of cultural exchange.

Surrounded by original Puerto Rican artwork and evocative images of Old San Juan and Spanish landscapes, every visit to Andaluz is a celebration of flavors, history, and culture, where the past and present converge seamlessly.

Very good experience! Very very good service, tasty drinks and cool ambience. Food was great but not all. From tapas and small plates, octopus was a crowd pleaser, calamari was great, croquets were ok and the charcuterie plate was a killer. From entrees and share plates, catch of the day was phenomenal! We also got pork entrees and those were tasty but not impressive. Over all great experience.

Restaurant we had reservations with for Thanksgiving let us know yesterday that they were closed. We scrambled to find another option, and boy did we luck out, The food was great, the service was outstanding and we had a great time. They have several good options for vegans in addition to their menu which satisfied the omnivores in the party.

Loved the food and the service at this restaurant! It's a cozy restaurant on the lobby of the hotel! Drinks need to be better but food is awesome! Will be coming back! Corkage fee is $40 but the starting price for a bottle of wine is $40 so it's a good idea to bring you're bottle if you like wine.

The restaurant is well designed. But betternorganization is needed. They are only open now for a couple of weeks so still giving a positive review… First it was raining and walking in, there is a sign that says Andaluz, the valet parking guys were blocking the entrance and instead of simply moving over to the side and welcoming you in they direct you further down the sidewalk to a controlled access door that we had to wait some time in the rain for someone to come let us in… now we are wet and going into a well air conditioned space. Poor execution. We get to the hostess station and are quickly seated. It took over 10 minutes for our server to arrive and take a drink order… He was a very nice young man but again for the price of this place much needs to improve here. Now we’ve ordered with very good explanation of menu from server and the food is above average for sure, but not quite yet at the price level they are charging. I’m familiar and have been to Marmalade which is 3x the price so no issue with spending but when you spend $700 for four people you have a certain expectation and it’s not there yet. We had iberico pork, octopus, tuna, swordfish and various cocktails / wine. Impeccable build out and atmosphere, let’s hope they get organized and food quality / flavor up a notch. One more thing outside of Wagyu, there simply is NOT a 45oz ribeye in the world with $240…. That is robbery. Anyway stay away from the market priced items and give them a try!
