Atlas Izakaya is a chef-run restaurant focused on creating delicious, thought-provoking Japanese food. Meaning “stay-drink-place” in its native tongue, Izakaya is a word to describe the perfect spot to settle down with company as you dine together. Located in the heart of historic Key West steps from Duval Street, our restaurant provides a relaxed vibe to meet your palate. To live up to our name, we created a refined atmosphere that features an impressive open kitchen to complement the same great impression made by our menu. Complete with local seafood, fresh vegetable dishes, bao buns, dumplings, and much more, our offerings are the kind you’ll be craving in the weeks following your visit.     Multiple dates available
    Join us for our monthly Kokadama Plant Class. We will enjoy sake cocktails and some plant based snacks while you learn the art of Kokadama, which translates to "moss ball" on which ornamental plants grow. Each class will feature different plants as you perfect the technique. While you will watch our host assemble the first plant, you can relax and enjoy drinks and snacks. After which, we will assist you in perfecting your take home kokadama. Happening the first Saturday of each month 12pm-2pm (limited bar seating only for this class)

    Smoky, your clothes will smell of fried meat. Dishes small and overpriced. Service was very good and attentive. Would not recommend

    Amazing from start to finish— ALL the food, service, drinks and entire experience was great. We originally planned to sit at a table but the bar was the only option and it was the BEST! Emily was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Non seafood eaters have options and the crispy rice tuna was the best I’ve ever had. I’m even trying to gather a group of friends to go to the plant sale workshop she told us about. We can’t wait to go back!

    My wife and I had a great time celebrating her birthday. Our server explained the choices to us in detail. The food was great. The service was great. We had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

    We had the best food and service at Atlas Izakaya last night. We’ve been coming to Key West for years and wanted to try something new. The menu is great because you can try a bunch of small plates and share instead of spending money on just a couple of entrees. Highly recommend if you want to try something a little off the beaten path from Duval.

    We have visited Atlas on our last two trips to KW. Both experiences have been wonderful. We followed the advice of our server and ordered her favorites and every item was amazing.

    Wow! This is the best meal in the Key West foodie scene. We absolutely loved everything about Atlas Izakaya. The menu can be a bit overwhelming upon first glance, but talk with your server and trust. The octopus was different than any other we’ve ever had and was so tender and juicy with a beautiful char. Tuna crudo was a favorite! Last night’s fresh catch special was black grouper and it was fabulous. We also had the cabbage with Bonita flakes which was as delicious as it was unusual. Dumplings were amazing, and for the first time we had warm garlic butter spiced stone claws. Just wow! We are so glad we found this place. It’s the perfect new addition to KW dining with the freshest ingredients one could find. It was hard to decide which ones to taste as they all sounded fascinating. The small share plates made it perfect to try every one so why choose?!? I haven’t even mentioned the attention to detail throughout the venue and the beautiful decor. Atlas is as beautiful to the eye as it is delicious to the palate. Get a reservation or go just as they open, and you’ll be so glad you did!!
