The food was fairly good. I think it was a bit overpriced and was very surprised there wasn’t a Thanksgiving option to order. The waiter was incredible. Was very disappointed that it took 25 mins for the valet to bring our vehicle. There was only two other people in front of us.

Beautiful venue and great service. Loki was the best! Explained the food well and took care of all our needs Seafood stew was outstanding as well as the roasted squash and salad. We were a little disappointed in the crab and leek Boudin. We expected a few more flavors to come through. Overall experience was great! Highly recommend

Honestly the best meal I’ve had in a long time! The squash appetizer was phenomenal. The espresso martinis were great! The star of the night was the Laphroaig-washed dry-aged bone-in ribeye. It’s cooked over a hearth to a perfect medium rare, and was by far the best steak I have ever had. The flavor was insane. We ended the night with the textures of chocolate dessert, which was perfect for any chocolate lover!

Auld Alliance is a fabulous, somewhat out of the box, restaurant with a limited and seasonal Scottish inspired menu. It has very interesting choices and we tried four different entrees, all of which were great! The ten day dry aged pork chop is hands down the best thing on the menu! And seeing the views at McLemore and Cloudland Hotel make the dining experience all the better!

This restaurant is not ready for service. Skip it until they hire the appropriate number of staff. Food comes late if at all, staff argues with the guests, and the manager when trying to remedy the situation references their open table rating as his defense. Not worth the price.

I call Aukd Alliance an ‘almost’. What I mean by that is they have almost everything to be a very good restaurant, but they still come up a bit short. The good: the hotel is gorgeous and so is the restaurant. The hostess greeted us, wished us a Happy Anniversary and showed off the prime aged ribeyes in the display windows. We were promptly seated…and then we waited for our server for at least 10-15 minutes! By then we were parched. The waiter took our orders then the bartender came to our table around ten minutes after we ordered to inform my husband the beer he wanted wasn’t available and neither was my drink…oh boy. So of the 7 beers on tap, only one was available and it was an IPA. They did provide a canned beer on the house for him and I stuck with water. For a restaurant to be out of booze on a weekend is odd to us. The service continued to be beyond slow and our waiter kept forgetting what we ordered. Now for the food. The butternut squash salad was way too sweet. When my steelhead trout arrived the skin was extra crispy but the trout had no flavor. My husband ordered the scallops and he said they were good. Finally when dessert came around my husband ordered the crème brûlée which tasted and looked awful—really odd to mess up that dessert. The waiter never said Happy Anniversary to us nor was anything special done for the occasion like you get at other higher scale restaurants. We wanted to like this place so badly, but it was a miss food and service-wise. The next morning we ate at the hotel’s cafe and the food was honestly not good. For now, I chalk it up to being a new hotel and them working out the kinks. We do plan on returning as the scenery and hotel amenities are gorgeous. I am hopeful the food will greatly improve over the course of the next year. The food at the neighboring clubhouse was delicious (The Creag).

Excellent service and food. A little pricey on the wine list but the Scotch soaked ribeye was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had in my life. Truly unique and memorable

Excellent food, service and setting. We had the ribeye for 2. It was one of the best steaks we have had in a while.
