   We tried two of the sake samplers & 2 of the set menus (fish, and mixed) The food, presentation, and sake were all excellent. A really delicious way to experience Japanese food & drink - the aubergine dish was particularly fantastic. I felt the service was warm and kind, but I did want a little more explanation of the dishes as although I am familiar with Japanese food, someone who isn’t may be a little confused / would benefit from a more personal explanation of each dish especially in a tasting menu format. £48 for a 6 course tasting menu was great value especially with the quality of food and portion sizes. Dessert options looked great however we didn’t try any. Overall I would gladly recommend this restaurant - it’s definitely worth a go. I would be interested in returning for lunch as it has a different menu, but I would wait until the menu cycles again to return for dinner. Overall a 8.5/10 experience - 10/10 food, just needs a little tuning on service to make it a really remarkable place.

   We always go here for my mum’s birthday because they cater for all sorts of diets (coeliac, vegan in particular). It’s a special treat and everyone enjoys it a lot. Staff are wonderful, food is delicious. G&T and teas good too! Thank you!

   Another absolutely delicious meal at Aun. We had the set lunch menu of 4 courses plus a toasted green tea and some karage chicken. Everything was honestly perfect. My 3 yr old had the kids set menu of karage chicken with rice and a juice which was also excellent and nice portion size. This is a neighbourhood gem! Its a shame it’s often empty when I’ve been but it’s absolutely no reflection of the quality of food. The service is excellent too and there is a very relaxing vibe. Thank you!
