   Avana, a place that we were excited to try and finally had our opportunity. The Valet service was nice for 20$. Upon entering we were running behind but they sat us and were accommodating as the evening didn’t seem too busy. It was a Sunday evening. The host was dressed down a bit surprising but she was cordial. The decor was very nice and the location is exceptional. We had an amazing waitress named Journee. Her personality was amazing and delightful. Unfortunately, that was the highlights of our experience. The menu was very confusing with so many items marked as “Market Price”. Even the salad was marked market price. The table next to us was also confused. Journee did the best she could to explain and we appreciated her efforts. We order the braised oxtail pizza and that wasn’t bad. We felt the collard greens were not necessary. The jerk skewers were good but just good not amazing probably wouldn’t go back for them. The mango juice on the plate was watery and underwhelming. The burger we ordered was asked to be medium but it came out well-done. No need to complain at that point though we just needed to finish the experience. The fries that came with it were limp but the idea was right, boardwalk style like down at the shore. The bun on the burger was cold. That concludes our experience. The location is perfect, the decor felt as if we were going to have a great fine dining experience, and unfortunately it was all underwhelming and overpriced.

   The service and ambiance were great, however the food was ridiculous. $250 for a mediocre steak with Tator Tots and a salad that tastes like grass from the front yard? The dressing was simply vinegar. No love or intention in that selection whatsoever. $40 for a lobster sandwich with CHIPS? This $400 for two people felt like we were being punked.

   I really enjoyed this resturant. The ambiance is beautiful. Our server was excellent and the food was out of this world!!! That bread basket was delighful especially the cornbread...sheer bliss! The devil eggs were beautiful - they had a savory-ness and that catfiah nugget was so yummy. We alao had the jerk chix skewers which were delicious! But babyyyy that watermelon chilean sea bass was the star! I was skeptical at first but the waiter assured me that I would like it and she was on point! The grits that accompanied the fish were a creamy, airy, buttery heaven...hands down the best grits I've ever had! That sea bass was cooked to perfection and filled with flavor...top 10! I would highly reccomend this spot it was 10/10!

   Lovely place. Our server was wonderful ( young lady with blonde hair and hair) she was great! The food was delicious and fresh. Only down side was sitting by the kitchen. Would’ve preferred to sit away from the kitchen due to all the smells. Other than that it was a great experience.

   What an awesome establishment run with pride and dignity. I love this place!!! Everything I’ve ordered has been delightful. 10/10!! Continued success. Special shout out to Aynae, Journey Justice and Ms Chrissy. Gentleman servers so professional and warm. Great service. See you soon 💚.

   Food was not great, especially for the price. Oysters were tiny and only received 3. The biggest challenge for me was the oxtail pizza. For it to be their most popular dish, I was expecting to be blown away by flavors. It just was bland and underwhelming. The collard overpowers everything and did not taste oxtail at all. We were promptly seated for our reservation. Servers was very attentive and knowledgeable. However, we will not return.
