Very nice restaurant with excellent vegetarian choices on the menu. Meat, chicken and fish options are also available and the lamb kebab I had was lovely and very tasty. All reasonably priced too. Good wine selection. We chose a red wine, a pinot nor, from Romania which was spot on and priced just over twenty pounds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our table overlooked Oban harbour which was very romantic. A must when visiting Oban.

Yummy food, wide variety, great for vegetarians or meat lovers! Pretty setting but not too loud. Great wait staff. Our waited made suggestions based on our questions and really knew the menu. Gave us great advice.

We were guests at The Perle Oban Hotel where this restaurant is located. The food was excellent and service was very good. A nice intimate restaurant/hotel with a waterfront location and centrally located for sightseeing in the area.

Absolutely delicious meal - one of the tastiest I have eaten in a while. I loved the veggie moussaka and the lemon yogurt cake especially.

Good food, more than terrible service. None of the three servers understood proper English. One chap seemed quite panicky whenever he was spoken to. I ordered a whiskysour to start off with, did not get it until after my main. When I pointed this out while paying the bill, the server just laughed and uttered an insincere apology. Just sad!

BAAB was recommended to me by a friend who normally dines in Glasgow. Really enjoyed our meal. Hummous, tsatsiki with delicious homemade naan and chef's special. Knowledgeable and attentive staff. Pleasant surroundings. Would return and do recommend.

Nice place but online booking system does not appear to work - they had no record of our booking when we arrived, which was embarrassing.
