   There were 6 of us and from the moment we sat down we were reminded throughout our tea that we only had the table for 90 minutes ~ which we were already aware of. It was unnecessary to keep reminding us of this house “rule” while we were trying to enjoy our annual Christmas tea event. P.S. Our total bill was over $300 so I think we “paid” handsomely for our “90 minutes”.

   We loved our experience at Babe's Tea Room. Kate was amazing! The place was super cute. We figured out at the very end of our experience that the lights being turned down would have helped the ambience. Felt like a hospital room the entire time. I hope that you decorate the back room so it feel more like the front. That's a big part of the joy. The outside patio is so cute and although the back room wasn't as cute or comfortable the chairs and tables worked out great. Our server was phenomenal. We will ask for her next time we go in! The tea sandwiches had great flavor but the bread was super dry. The pastries were yummy. The scones too were a bit dry but great flavor. The teas were amazing. Such a beautiful selection of teas. Kate was well versed in all of them and helped us navigate the menu. The room we were in was not too loud which was great because we had a small baby with us. We for sure will be coming back!!!

   It was a nice place to stop into, the tea was great and everything tasted good. But if you have food allergies you need to be careful, friend had sunflower allergies and I am gluten free. We let them know, and asked they check for us and luckily we asked them to double check on one item. Later found out when double checking that two items had these allergens, as the staff didn’t know and therefore just assumed. They doubled checked when asked and our server let us know quickly after researching and finding out. A replacement was brought out, and we were able to prevent a full blown reaction luckily. Otherwise the food was tasty, but would have loved to be able to smell the teas before having to commit to a full amount would have been wonderful!

   The teas and variety available were amazing. The tea sandwiches and sweets were a good variety. The sandwiches were a bit dry in texture but I feel that all high teas sandwiches tend to be that way. Visited the tea room for holiday tea. The room we were sat in was very open and a bit noisy. The seating was slightly uncomfortable as the upholstered chair sat very low to the ground. The space did not have a holiday inspired feel at all. It was enjoyable but not quite the holiday tea I was hoping for.

   This was such a great experience! From the service to the atmosphere and the food and the drinks. We had such a lovely time. I highly recommend you attending tea.

   We love Babes Tea Room! Been many times and will be back again. My partner needs the gluten free menu and they do a great job accommodating.

   I enjoyed a lovely holiday tea with friends. There were ample tea options to order from and the pre set holiday food was tasty. The savory selection was delicious and fresh, however a few of the desserts were lacking, primarily stale macarons and crunchy shortbread cookies. Service was fine, but nothin exceptional. Overall we enjoyed ourselves!
