At Babette, the husband and wife team of Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker, are in the kitchen preparing each plate to ensure that their vision and taste profile are translated to each diner. The attention to detail are evident in not only the food they make but also the ambience they have created. The interior of the restaurant is natural brick and the couple have chosen a rich color palette of deep blues and greens for the walls. An elegant chandelier hangs over a natural wood backed booth providing both a cozy and elegant feel to the room. Outside on the spacious patio, a magnificent redwood tree provides natural shade to the built in seating area and plants are abundant creating a lush, garden setting.
Live music Brunches, New York style Pizza, unique Entrees and our famous Sicilian Lemon Almond Pistachio Cake are just a taste of what you will find at Babette. Warm and knowledgeable staff will make you feel like part of the family.

Babette Large Party Experience
Multiple dates available
For parties between 10-20 people, we offer a Large Party Prix Fixe Menu: A multi-course, family style experience which features dishes from our seasonal menu, and is the best way to dine at Babette with a larger group. We consider anything over 20 to be a full by-out and you will need to speak with us directly for details. Our large Prix Fixe Menus are priced separately for either Brunch or Dinner. Brunch- $35 per person (beverages, tax and gratuity not included) Dinner- $50 per person includes dessert (beverages, tax and gratuity not included) Please note: the entire group must participate. Where possible, we will accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, and of course, you are welcome to add on extra dishes from our menu.

As always, our server (today, it was Karen) were unhurried, efficient, attentive and warm. They congratulated us on our anniversary and guided us when we had questions about the menu. The live jazz band was exceptional, and not too loud for us to enjoy conversation. We are already planning our next trip back!

We had a choice to sit outside or inside - I think either would have been lovely but we chose outside and sat around the fire table - between the fire table, heat lamp and cozy blankets, the temperature was perfect even on a somewhat chilly night and you could not beat the wonderful atmosphere. It was our first time here but will not be the last.

The pork belly sliders, caesar salad, pizza and wild boar ragu were outstanding. The gnocchi so, so. We thought the lemon cake was quite dry and overpriced at $14. And the aperitif was tasty but hardly two sips worth. Not a great wine selection. Service very friendly and gracious. We booked an early 5:15 dinner in the patio as we have a two-year-old. We sat at the far back at the fire table and my grandson was enchanted and also able to walk around a bit without disturbing other diners. Everyone was very accommodating. Highly recommend Babette!

We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday with a brunch. Twelve happy and well-fed people! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed incredible food, a jazz ensemble, and a wonderful ambiance. We loved the ricotta pancakes, shrimp toast, and huevos rancheros. Everything was perfect!!

Absolutely fabulous! The weather was perfect for outdoor seating for Sunday brunch. The service was exceptional and the food delicious- plus so nice to hear the jazz group too.

Wonderful dining setting, on deck under a redwood tree. The food was excellent,nuanced, complex flavors and original. The deserts are off the charts. A great restaurant.

I love Babette's! it never disappoints. The ambience, especially in the courtyard, is romantic and yet relaxed. The service is warm, careful, unobtrusive. And the food is delicious and interesting, including dishes I would not make for myself at home, and would not even imagine, sometimes.
