   Best lasagna I've ever had in a restaurant! Had a later reservation but the staff didn't rush us to finish our wine and they were friendly and attentive. Will go back on our next trip to PS.

   We sat outside, near a heater and it was perfect….twinkling lights and not noisy. Service was attentive but not rushed. Food (appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts) were all very good.

   The food and service was great. I had the veal parmigiana and my wife had sandabs. Both were great. We also enjoyed the tomato bisque. The cappuccino and chocolate cake was a nice finale. What I really liked was that they genuinely appreciated our business. When the manager saw that we finished our dinners he brought out the chef to tell us he was happy we enjoyed our meal.

   Welcome was warm, though a bit harried even though the restaurant was not that busy. We were 6, the only table set up for 6 was outside on the patio; this turned out to be OK for the temperature, but there was some wind, so together with the temp, it felt too cold; we moved indoors. But there were no table for 6, so they cobbled 2 tables together, one short and small, the other taller and longer, so not at the same level and a bit stretched to have a conversation. The food was good overall; the calamari was excellent; the wedge salad was a salad but not a wedge, still with good tasty things on top of the romaine lettuce; the cream sauce on the chicken was very creamy though not with distinctive flavors, could have been "notched up" in terms of taste. It was a pleasant evening, but it could have been enhanced with a bit of focus on "taste" in the kitchen.

   Quaint, cozy restaurant on quiet and non-pretentious side of El Paseo. Excellent service and ambience. Great Italian specialties!

   This restaurant has changed its direction and the kitchen is now offering food that is less Italian fare and more Asian??? Edamame as an appetizer and teriyaki salmon as an entree special? This menu is veering off direction and needs to find its way back to classic and authentic Italian cuisine or else I’m departing….

    It was my second time here and my friend said, ‘Why don’t we come here more often?’ It is a very pretty, and comfortablerestaurant with great food and service. We both had lasagna and for dessert, tiramisu and sorbet/gelato. Delicious! We for sure will be back sooner rather than later!
