Aberfeldy Traditional Bangers and Mash$34.00
This is our own recipe for traditional Scottish bangers made in house by our chefs. Oh yeah! Onions, brown gravy, mashed potatoes and bangers, what is not to like here! This truly is our family's comfort food. We may be sold out. It does not get any better than this. I am home now. Select one vegetable side from our choices listed.
Dumfries Stuffed Red Pepper$34.00
A halved whole red pepper, stuffed with long-grain pan-fried rice with onion, celery, zucchini, carrot, cilantro and jalapeño. Then baked in the oven, topped with a cheddar cheese sauce. Sounds simple to cook, but it is not. However, it just tastes fantastic. Our chefs can change the ingredients to your requirements. This is how true restaurants who make fresh food can adapt to your specific expectations. Such a tasty dish. Select one potato side and one vegetable side from our choices listed.
Musselburgh's Fish and Chips$34.00
Boneless filet of haddock. If you went to a 'Scottish chippy', this is what you would get: real chips and real fish, as it's cooked in Scotland. Succulent fish in our beer batter with mushy peas and our house-made tartar sauce. I eat this weekly, reminds me of home.
Campsie Glen Chicken Selection$36.00
Smoked bacon with moist chicken breast and Stilton blue cheese sauce, absolutely amazing for flavour. Hadrian's Wall Roasted Duck Breast$46.00
The absolute best of duck breast with Rabbie's mustard, honey and rosemary marinade, then oven roasted, for it unleashes the flavours as you have never tasted before. The Roman Empire fell apart after this. Select one potato side and one vegetable side from our choices listed.

A Scottish lamb dish for our Kings and Queens. This form of braising goes back to when only a few ingredients were available. The Manor House Duck$48.00
For over 800 years of history, royalty controlled our everyday lives. When his lordship says "I would like some duck for dinner tonight," the gamekeeper goes to the lord's duck pond, selects one, then passes it to the kitchen for the cooks to prepare. It is made tender by the slow cooking in its own fat, with herbs and aromatics. Then it's drizzled with a golden maple citrus glaze. Now the lord has his duck. This is how life was then. Everything was to please the lord of the manor and his family. Tomorrow he wants squab. This is a dish beyond fantastic for flavour and taste. Select one potato side and one vegetable side from our choices listed.

Balmoral is our go to for special occasions. We go every Christmas season with Mr sons and spouses. The beverage menu is extensive and as big as the dinner menu. We usually get a select flight scotch. The Haggis (yes you should try it) and scotch eggs were outstanding, as were our main courses. Sara our server was excellent with just the right timing for food drink and water refills. The traditional bag pipe at the entrance welcomed you and depending on dining time, may bid you good bye. A high end memorable experience. Is this helpful?

Everything I ordered was outstanding, as always, but when I got the bill, I was astounded by the $5 a glass charge for soda. I did not remember that from previous visits. Cheap people are my biggest peeve, but I don't think think this falls in that category. Is this helpful?

Balmoral Restaurant Review If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Balmoral Restaurant in Campton Hills is it. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to a warm and inviting Scottish haven. The ambiance is absolutely stunning—rustic yet elegant, with every detail carefully thought out to create a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The highlight of my visit was the bagpiper. It’s not every day you get to enjoy your meal accompanied by live bagpipe music! It added such a unique and magical touch to the evening, making the experience feel like a true celebration of Scottish heritage. The food was just as impressive. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with flavors that perfectly captured the heart of Scotland. Whether you’re a fan of traditional Scottish fare or simply enjoy incredible cuisine, Balmoral delivers in every way. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s a gem for anyone looking for something special, from the ambiance to the service to the unforgettable bagpiper. I’ll definitely be back!Is this helpful?

My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here and everything was great! The man playing the bagpipes played a song to celebrate our anniversary. Is this helpful?

Your are greeted as you approach the building by a bagpiper playing a tune for you. Inside you find a warm cozy feeling place with wood-looking ceiling tiles and an extensive whiskey and Scotch list. My wife and I shared the warm fish spread appetizer (delicious), a huge Caesar salad that could have been shared by four people. We also shared the glazed salmon main course. Salmond was very good but the glaze was spicier than I expected. It was good, but not a subtle sweet glaze. Wines were reasonable—a bit strange you have to ask for the wine name—the menu just says Chardonnay, etc. Overall a nice experience. One comment for managment—our first chair the seat was worn out so you sat in a hole. We asked to exchange it for the empty seat next to us, and they then had the bad chair—which they also switched out—just take the chair off the floor and get it fixed. Also, wines by the glass weren’t that cold, but the bottles were better chilled. Is this helpful?

I love this place! It’s honestly my favorite. But I can’t personally go when there is a bagpipe player because of my hearing issues. That aside, so cute. I take everyone who comes to visit. Get the soup!Is this helpful?

As always our evening dinner experience was top shelf. Colin’s crew did a terrific job. For a couple of enjoyable hours you feel like you’re in the old countryside of Scotland. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu you simply have to return to try it all.Is this helpful?
