   The food(we split the whole fish between 3 of us) was excellent! The taste, texture, presentation and preparation was perfection! We had a party of eight. Each of us had a wonderful dinner experience! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

   The Kanpachi was the best fish I have ever eaten. We actually cancelled a reservation elsewhere to have it again the night before our flight. If they offer it served whole, order it.

   Service painfully slow. Meal disappointing and wildly overpriced. We ate at Havens Harbourside the prior night and it was a thousand percent better. And less expensive. The Ritz was amazing this week but you should avoid the Banyan at all costs. Eat literally anywhere else .

   We came to celebrate a 30th birthday. The beef tenderloin was charred burnt to a crisp. The waiter asked if we wanted to start with bread. He didn’t say it would cost $8.00 he made it seem like it was included. If you’re looking for overpriced food and fine service it’s a place to go. Over all disappointed. Also it’s a walk from the main entrance. Management and hostess were nice. Server was nice. Nothing stand out worthy.

    The hostess was aloof and not organized. She sat a party and said she would be right with us. We were taking pictures next to the hostess stand and when she came back she served the people behind us. Windy night - no one outside - started to take us to outside table. The poke was described as mildly hot - had chili flakes and was too hot. Premade (would prefer fresh made) so had to return it and not eat it. Whole fish is amazing! Strange pricing. Menu says $200 for entire fish. Waiter gave price of $250 for entire fish and $150 for half (a special price). Maybe entire fish was larger - but pricing is strange - perhaps MP on menu makes more sense Mashed potatoes arrived cold.
