   Enjoyed the atmosphere and great service. We ordered lots off the menu but I really enjoyed the vegetables, Caesar salad , and potatoes! We ordered three dips that were all delicious—and served in a large platter with lots to share and enjoy. We ordered the Somets for dessert and the homemade marshmallows were toasted by us at the table! Yum yum yum

   Truly the food was to die for. Each dish was a 5/5 star in our book. My husband has lived in Chicago, New York, Washington D.C., Texas, and Washington. A connoisseur of foods if you will. We enjoy eating out everywhere, but this place by far was the best restaurant in Kailua. Please go, if you’re second-guessing yourself, don’t.

   The food and cocktail that I had were good, however there was one crucial issue. It was not what I wanted. I made a reservation for my birthday, as looking at the menu online I saw that they had some interesting and appealing dishes. However, when i made the reservation for 5PM, I did not realize, at the time, that they would not be serving full dinner plates. Instead it was appetizers and other small bite plates for sharing or nibbling. Had I known this I would have rescheduled my evening, but otherwise I was left hungry, and ordering something that was at a higher price, for less food than I would have liked. That being said, the Kalua Pork sliders are delicious, but the disappointment of not being able to order from the dinner menu overshadowed that. I feel bad rating the service low, as it did not seem that the restaurant was operating in excess of staff, but even still. When I tried to get a seat and confirm my reservation I found myself waiting at the podium at the entrance until one of the bartenders/waitresses came over. The Bartenders themselves were very skilled and polite, however there only seemed to be a single bartender who was making drinks and tending to customers at the bar at a time. I felt like I was waiting for my cheque for some time, and this wasn't a location to yell out or call out to the bartender.

   Banyans is an incredible dining experience! The service was attentive and detailed, the food was delicious and the ambiance is top-notch. The overall vibe is great — I’ll definitely be back!

   This place is a real find in Kailua. The staff were awesome. Michaella (sorry for spelling guess!) was our server and she was exceptional. Very warm and personable, knowledgable about everything and funny. The entertainment was awesome too. Savannah (spelling again) was great. The food was very good as well. The lamb was some of the best lamb that I've had and I was once a waiter in Ireland. All in all, a great experience, with our server Michaella being the highlight. Don't tell the chef.

   This is my new favorite restaurant in Kailua! The food is absolutely delicious- brunch and dinner!! I’ve had three meals here in a weeks time as I love it so much. The restaurant itself is just gorgeous. Every detail looks marvelous. Live music is nice on the weekends. It’s a great addition to the restaurant options in Kailua. If you like good food then this place is a must try!!

   Our second visit to Banyans did not disappoint! We got there at 6:30 pm and sat in the back. The live music was great. We ordered the orange and beet salad, ceviche, sautéed vegetables and lobster corndogs. The first two were probably the best versions I’ve ever had. The orange and beet salad with goat cheese had so much flavor and the ceviche was wonderfully tangy and limey with fresh tortilla chips. (I’d make a suggestion to include serving spoons with these dishes since they’re meant to be shared.) The vegetables were good but there was a lot of marinara sauce left over so we thought a few slices of crusty bread or brioche would really complement this dish. The lobster corn dog was absolutely delicious. Loved it all and will be back!

   My fiancé and I had an amazing first dinner engaged together here! Perfect place to celebrate the occasion and the service was so amazing. They made it a special dinner!

    Cool place for Brunch. The avacado toast was excellent and the Shrimp and grits hit the spot. Will return.
