   Really disappointed with the last visit. Food was not up to the usual standards and a final bill of £150. Disappointing that wines are not available and not mention on arrival. Both options requested, that were a bit cheaper, and none available.

   We were given a table at the back, which was fine, but a bit quiet to start with. Food was great, except the rabbit which was a bit tough. I was expecting better overall, but nothing I can put my finger on. Bit average.

   Great wine selection, food was good and service was quick and helpful. Good date night spot. There is ongoing construction outside the venue, so a table inside might be better for ambiance.

   Excellent food and service. The range of small dishes was excellent, I particularly enjoyed the steak and the prawns.

   Sometimes you have 'one of those meals'.... this was one of them. Had the set menu, which had everything from the menu that interested me, and was not disappointed. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back again and have the same again too!

    This is a lovely place in an beautiful quiet area. The Bar Douro is a very traditional Portuguese looking bar with a touch of exquisite. The service is amazing, they are always ensuring we have everything we need and want, without bothering us. They are polite and friendly. The food is proper Portuguese, they are petiscos (small plates, tapas) and one is tastier than the other. The wine is delicious. I definitely recommend this place.
