   The food was very good and we loved the atmosphere. The server definitely lacks training and was not attentive . She served our espresso in a creamer cup. And I sat without a drink for almost 15 minutes during my meal.

   Second try at Bar Italia. Had a 8:00 pm reservation. Arrived at 7:00 to have drinks and wait for the table. We were a party of 4 and there were numerous 4 top tables available empty, but we were told those were for earlier reservations. After being At the bay for 40 minutes those tables were still empty. After talking to the hostess with an attitude she agreed to seat us at one of the empty tables. After being seated for 15 minutes Amanda approached our table and when asked if she was a waiter her answer was “I might be” . Not a great start. Food was mediocre and very salty. Pizza was overcooked on the top with soft snd mushy crust. Lemon chicken was very salty. Pricey bill with bad service and mediocre food.

   Went to bar after dinner for a glass of wine with two guests. They ordered house cabernet. Bar charged 18 a glass. When we questioned bill bar tender sent they would adjust but management refused to reduce the bill. We feel we were over served.

   We always love Bar Italia for Friday night date night! The best part is the pistachio olive oil cake with ice cream! Yum!! This truly our fav LWR restaurant!
