   If you haven't been to this place, you are missing out! The beer phenomenal, and the location is so unique (overlooking the Deer Valley Municipal Airport). The tacos and the service are always great. The Tuesday special is by far the best value in town. Visit soon - you will not be disappointed.

   We went in with high expectations and left with I guess a bit of disappointment. It was okay. Service will struggle as get busier. Okay we went but unfortunately won’t go back. Artichoke dip was filled with a green oil maybe pesto? Food was just okay.

   It’s a very nice venue for hosting customers via the private room. Servers and managers were very attentive, and the food came quickly and was very tasty. Will keep coming back with large groups!

   This was another amazing visit to Barrio Brewing! The Tuesday South of Border Special is by far the best deal/value in town! The fish tacos (both Baja, and Pub Fried) and carnitas tacos are very good, and the salsa provided has a nice spicy and smoky flavor. And with your entree, you get a soda or one of their outstanding craft beers! The server was new, so she was still getting familiar with the menu and the specials. We have all been new and in learning mode, so we don't really hold that against her, and in all fairness, she was very attentive. The ambiance is always cool, given the location overlooking the municipal airport runway. We are always looking forward to our next visit.

   We were visiting the area and found Barrio Brewing on Open Table. We looked at the menu and thought we would give it a try. First thing we discovered was that Barrio Brewing was at the Phoenix Deer Valley Airport. We were a little surprised when we turned into the airport parking lot. We found the restaurant and entered. The restaurant seemed nice, clean, and mostly quiet for a five thirty on a Friday night. We ordered the pretzel appetizer. It came with three large pretzel sticks and two dipping sauces. The cheese sauce seemed to be kind of dark and thick, like it was possibly burnt, and the honey mustard sauce was runny. My wife had a salad with chicken, that she said was good. It had a cut up chicken breast on it. I had the chicken tenders. I was not happy with the chicken tenders. They seemed almost like pressed chicken tenders and not quality pieces of chicken meat. The crowd was picking up as we were there. We figured it was probably a locals/ airport workers type of place, being kind of off the beaten path.

   What a fun time. Good food, great view, and challenging trivia. I touched base with the guests at the table the next day and they all said they had a wonderful evening. I loved my Phoenix sandwich and the fish and chips, potato scoopers, and churros got raves.

    Opened in the Deer Valley airport and not sure if many people realize it’s there. Not busy the 2 times we’ve been. Once for dinner and once for lunch and both times it wasn’t very busy which is a shame because it’s a nice place and the burgers are delicious. We also like the pretzel appetizer with beer cheese.
