   First time at the Bathhurst went for valentine's....disappointed with food didn't eat much of my 5 course that was a joke! Too expensive for what you got and a £10 service charge on top! Without being asked . No effort went into valentine's at all no fire going no nice table candle was nearly gone .

   Overall very good. Pleasant place. Excellent food. Service suffered slightly due to a sudden influx of diners that filled the pub. Despite this the staff were very cheerful throughout.

   We really like the Bathurst Arms and it wasn’t our first visit. The food was very nice overall however, the crushed potatoes on the mushroom pie were literally just broken new potatoes and the turkey Christmas dinner was missing the usual items such as pigs in blankets. Overall good meal out

   The food was tasty, although it was only lukewarm when it arrived. The first drinks order only reached the table after the food had arrived. We'd ordered the "festive menu" which the website says comes with shared vegetables for the table, but weren't served. When asked, the server said this was an "optional extra" but there isn't an option to order this on the website. The restaurant had the temerity to automatically include a 10% tip on the bill, which isn't mentioned on their website.

   Quality of food and staff excellent, good selection of wines. The only downside for us was that we felt a little bit cramped for space. Other than that a great night out. Thank you
