   Our party of four could not have been happier with the choice we made to go to Barullo at El Distrito. Once inside and our server, Norberto approached, we were into a wonderful relaxing dining experience . As they had several paella choices, Norberto suggested we try the one made with squid ink and it was divine. Also, their drink choices were quite refreshing and my bourbon drink was spot on. Can’t wait to go again.

   Food was fine, nothing to write home about. The service was not great and our server did not seem to care about the table at all. Had to flag down other waiters for new drinks while she was on her phone.

   De 5 platos, 3 eran filetes de salmón; 2 de ellos estaban pasados de cocinados, duros y sin nada pero nada de sabor. Pedimos limones, sal y aceite de oliva para poder mejorar el sabor, y lamentablemente no lo pudimos comer y disfrutar. El resto de la comida, los tragos y los aperitivos estuvieron muy buenos.

   Food overpriced, dry, not really authentic to Spain. It was edible and tasted alright. Bloody Mary and the bacon dates were lit tho

   The service was below subpar. We ordered a few coffee drinks prior to ordering our meal and received the coffees right before we left. This was despite the numerous request for our drinks. Also, the waiter was not interested in checking in to see if there was any issue with our order.

    Meh. We were visiting from out of town, and the menu looked interesting, but the place needs some work. You enter though what appears to be a fast food counter area, though that counter was closed, and there were a lot of people miling about, apparently waiting for tables. It was difficult to even get to the hostess stand to check in for our reservation. The hostess was on the phone and back and forth with a large group that appeared to be having issues. We finallly got seated, and the main part of the restuarant is nicer than the entrance, but the service was slow. We started with cocktails that did not have any flavor, then tried some coquettes and a meat and cheese play. The food pretty much had no flavor, and the meats and cheese seemed low quality. We left after that and did not stick around for a main course. Would not recommend.
