Bastille Brasserie & Bar is located at the corner of North Fayette & Pendleton Street in Alexandria VA.

Chefs Christophe & Michelle Poteaux's award winning restaurant & bar, located in Old Town Alexandria, has continuously offered guests fresh takes on classic French cuisine, all within our quaint neighborhood brasserie.

Our creations are rooted in the use of seasonal, locally sourced and farm fresh ingredients. Our passion for French food, wine & culture is what we celebrate daily with all of Alexandria & the DMV.     Another wonderful visit to Bastille. This time for a delicious and leisurely Sunday brunch. Very generous portions on the pre-fix 3 course meal, delicious food and great value for money. Wonderful staff and service as always.

    Celebrated my birthday with Bastille at Brunch. Amazing service and food. Even got a complimentary glass of bubbles and a sweet card. They went above and beyond.

    Our meal was delicious and beautifully seasoned and the service was impeccable. My husband and I were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely evening.

    Always a stellar and delicious experience at Bastille. Glad to see foie gras was back on the menu. Had an outstanding burger as well. Wish I could have eaten all those fries! Thanks to Chef Christophe for stopping out several times to see how we were doing at the bar. Wish we lived closer as this would be a biweekly experience at least.

    The food was great apart from a mix up in our order due to allergy note not being followed. They did bring out a new plate, but that was after already eaten a portion of the food not knowing it has the allergen in the sauce.

    The special menu for Valentine's Day was simply delicious. The wine pairings matched each course and the service is always the best at Bastille! All I can say is this closed out the evening nicely, was a real value and delicious! Book your reservation today!
