Bayberry Hollow’s journey began in 2011 whilst strolling through the picturesque village of Tanfield. We fell in love with, what was, the village pub; The Pack Horse.

Here at Bayberry Hollow our ethos is simple... Great tasting home made dishes in a relaxed dining environment with welcoming service.

Our food menu is not huge, but there will be something on there that everyone will love.

Please note serving times for food:

Breakfast: Sunday-Friday 10am-11:30am & Saturday 9am-11am

Lunch Sunday- Friday 12pm- 3:30pm & Saturday 11:30am-4pm

We still serve our Coffee, Scone & Cake menu but on a walk in basis only. No reservations for this, you will be charged for this.

All of our team are from the local surrounding area and we all pride ourselves in making each of our customers welcome and appreciated. Our newly refurbished bistro provides the perfect destination for you to relax with friends and family, we are looking forward to welcoming you in store soon!

Everyone can enjoy a deliciously warm cheese scone. Your sweets start with a sweet scone served with clotted cream and jam, then a choice of delicious cake and also a chocolate dipped strawberry to finish. Gluten free? We can provide a full gluten free afternoon tea Along with your food you can enjoy an unlimited supply of our double gold star Taste Award coffee and fine English tea, please note there is an extra charge for speciality tea or coffee. We also have Prosecco available, served by the glass or bottle. Afternoon Tea is priced pp for booking.

    We booked here for my daughter-in-law’s baby shower today as she just wanted to go out for lunch . The food was amazing as always , and the service was excellent. They even have a beautiful little gift shop too ❤️. We’ve been afew times now and just love it , you won’t be disappointed x

    We had a lovely time for mother's day! The staff know my mum very well, they are so friendly and welcoming The food choices for the afternoon tea was so creative and tasty! We could tell how much thought and effort had gone into making the experience memorable and special One of the girls accidentally dropped some drinks, we hope she is ok as these things happen - we've all been there! Thank you so much We're looking forward to our return already

    Visited today with my mam for Mother’s Day and fully recommend. The staff were so lovely and very attentive super quick service and super friendly. We had scrambled egg on sourdough toast and a scone, we even took two scones as takeaway. The food was beautiful can’t fault anything it was perfect. lovely touch for the ladies being in pink for Mother’s Day.
