BCN Taste & Tradition, the name gives a nod to Barcelona and the meld of traditional and modern Spanish cuisine. Chef Luis Roger relocated from Girona, Spain - trained under Michelin Chef Ferran Adria at elBulli- and taught at the renowned culinary school Aula Gastronomica de l’Emporada.

Located on a 1920’s era Victorian home in the trendy Montrose/Museum District (4210 Roseland St.). BCN Taste & Tradition will recreate an authentic Spanish style dining experience with unparalleled service. The menu will showcase all the fantastic, cutting-edge haute cuisine that put Spain on the world stage.

Credit card info required for reservations larger than 5 guests. A $50/person fee will be charged if you are unable to cancel within 48 of your scheduled time or if your party decreases in size within 24 of your reservation. No fee will be assessed for transferring the reservation to a different name.

    The service, did I mention the service! The attention to detail and make you feel cared for was a delight, from the bar to the waiter I was impressed of such a service and genuine smiles at a restaurant in Houston. They went above and beyond the call of duty. Food was delicious and the cocktails presentation was beautiful and with great flavors as well. Definitely my favorite spot to dine in Houston

    This is the second time my husband and I have celebrated our anniversary here, and it was fantastic! We always love returning to the bar because the service is exceptional. The staff remembers our faces and makes us feel like part of the family every time. It’s always a pleasure to celebrate at BCN.

    The food was azmazing and the service was impeccable! The only complaint is that my husband and I are both vegan so when we made the reservation we checked the option for vegan and we put a not in the reservation. When we got there we were given the wrong menu and they gave us chorizo to start off with. This was very disapointing since we had notified the restaurant of our dietary restrictions. Once we told them the immediately gave us a vegan menu. They also took away the chorizo and gave us olives. After that everything was amazing and we will definitely go back!!

    We went for a birthday celebration for my wife. We wanted dinner but was full. We ended up with late lunch and that was great. The setting was clean and classy albeit cozy due to being a house transformed to a restaurant. Charming. Now to the food. We ordered the perfunctory iberico croquettas and it was excellent. Good crunch and flavor without being too oily. Gambas bomba arroz negra and that was excellent with al dente preparation and nice touch. I ordered the conchillio a la sevoviana. We just returned from Madrid and Barcelona and it was indeed special. We had dined at Botin and the novelty of being in the oldest restaurant was an experience but the cochinillo at BCN was far better. We craved for Vermut and they had it and made us reminisce about Spain. The dessert was their take on the Crema Catalana. It was presented beautifully in a Phyllo wrap that was inventive and delicious. I wished there were 4 pieces instead of 3:). Overall, great value and wonderful food and experience. Guillermo and the staff were excellent and made you feel special without being overbearing. Will definitely return maybe for dinner. Salut.
