   Excellent little eaterie by the sea, focus is on freshly cooked , mostly local sea food , great quality &attention to detail , can’t fault it- we’ve had lunch there a few times & it never disappoints Friendly staff , cosy venue , with great atmosphere &wonderful view of the sea

   Awesome breakfast. Been here before but this time was even better, we had 2 McMuffins and a waffle breakfast. Muffins were incredible and so tasty made with quality ingredients. Son had the waffle it was gone in seconds so I can only assume it was good. Service great and a perfect spot for a great breakfast.

   Been coming to the Beachhouse once or twice a year for ten years been going downhill last couple of years but this year ,food was terrible,wine choice minimal ,service reasonable given that it is Christmas atmosphere mediocre at best,the place used to be buzzing this time of year with renting out up to accommodate extra guests.However all the negatives could be forgiven if food was acceptable ,olives disgusting tasted of pure salt ,chicken Milanese was tough ,tasted oily and deep fried and for the price shocking ,in my opinion it is living off it's previous fantastic reputation that of being an absolute must place to visit when down this way for food good vibes ,good wine and service with it's various articles in the press securely putting it on the map ,sorry Beachhouse we are going to give you a miss on our future visits untill we heat of an improvement

   It starts with the ingredients. The ingredients were excellent quality and the food was amazing. Local Salcombe beers and ciders complimented local seafood.

    The food was ok although lacking in some flavour. Mussels on the cold side temperature wise. Would have benefited from a warm sauce rather than the water they appears to have been cooked in. Burrata not that creamy. Had to move tables which was awkward for 80 year old Mother. We have had had better here in the past. But it’s a great location.
