   Wonderful wood-roasted dishes! The pizza is awesome but so are the veggie dishes. The brocollini was amazing. Also loved the little gem salad!

   The food was amazing. We had the broccolini and sausage pizza, and smoked greens. For two, it was plenty. We took 2 pieces of pizza home. Great atmosphere, long waits so make reservations. Great service. Only issue was our table was extremely off balance so anytime we moved, we had to hold our drinks to keep them from spilling.

   It was such a delightful meal. The lemonade, oh my gosh!!!!!! The Bee Stang and Sausage and Pepperoni pizzas, so amazing!! And the cookie skillet, don’t even get me started. All outstanding. Also, big shoutout to Addie for giving us an unforgettable experience! Bear and the Wren, you did it again.

    I have been to Bear and Wren countless times, always a huge fan. However the pizzas we ordered this time- the pumpkin pie and prosciutto pear were underwhelming, strange combinations of flavors, and oddly at the same time low in flavor. Pear & Prcuitto: The pears weren’t ripe and the entire pizza had the pungent taste of prosciutto only. The crust was also a tad undercooked. The meat was also fatty and for $23 for a pizza it was hard to digest. Pumpkin pie: I understand the concept they had going in their mind, however the execution was quite poor. The pumpkin base tasted like soup vs a sweet brown butter flavor. The sausage was - um too sausagy? Very pungent. And the mixture of cheese - goat, Gorgonzola, fontina, mozzarella, had my taste buds thoroughly confused. Couldn’t tell what was going on and if I wasn’t so hungry I would’ve gladly had them make something different for us.
