   Very good meal: excellent chicken meatball and cauliflower starters; OK mushroom bowl, very good prime burger, and OK rigatoni al la vodka entrees; and excellent chocolate cake and caramel pie desserts; OK service, nice ambience. Restaurant week discounts added value to the meal.

   Food was delicious. The portions are tiny in comparison to the cost. Everything else was as expected and enjoyable.

   The pancakes are an extremely weird texture, I had to send back. Server stated it was because there is ricotta cheese in the pancake but menu didn’t state that.

   I usually go to Beatrix before going to theater. The food is yummy and this time we had an Awesome server, Don, We told him the time we needed to be on our way for a 7 PM performance and everything came at the correct time, Don was constantly checking in on use to make certain that things were running smoothly and our food met our expectations. I highly recommend either the salmon or whitefish and for sure the chocolate mousse cake. Things are a bit pricey, but they are everywhere. If you decide to go to Beatrix, be sure to ask for Don as your server to make your experience terrific!

   We had an outstanding experience at Beatrix before seeing a Broadway production at the Cadillac Palace Theater. The location was perfect for our purposes and it was a wonderful experience! We ordered from the theater menu, which had multiple options and meant we placed our entire order at the beginning of the meal. It was a good value, with appetizer, entree, and dessert all included in the price of $35, and is available Monday through Friday after 3 pm. Ordering that way allowed for great timing of food delivery without being rushed. Every item was delicious and perfectly prepared, and service was wonderful. For appetizers we had the Hot Honey Brussels Sprouts and the Whipped Feta. Our entrees were the Pecan-Crusted Whitefish and Chicken Bebe. For dessert we both had the Tall, Dark and Handsome Chocolate Cake, which was very rich. It was a little noisy, as there seemed to be some after-work business groups, but we were promptly moved to another location on request which was much quieter. We had more than we could eat and enjoyed every bite. We will choose Beatrix again when enjoying a theater evening and look forward to checking out the Oak Brook location.

   First time at this restaraunt. Great first experience. So close to Cadillac Theatre. Had the white fish and it was the perfect taste and size. Service was exceptional.

    Eric was our server. He is attentive thoughtful and personable. His depth of knowledge of the menu is exceptional. His demeanor is both kind and caring. Yummy Cesar salad. Burger is a home run. Chicken Bebe was yummy
