   The ratings are deceptive. The food is all vegan which they do not disclose. Italian food that is traditional is not prepared this way. Make sure you review the menu in advance. They disclose meatballs but there is no meat. They disclose bolognese sauce which is meat based but there is no meat. Not cool. Good luck.

   Ranjit, I am not going to apologize for being an incredible Italian restaurant that curates their menu without the use of meat. Being a chef of over 35 years and growing up in a very traditional Italian home, i have to correct you when you say that this is not how traditional Italian cuisine is prepared. In fact, roughly about 60% of our cuisine prepared by my lovely grandmother, who was born and raised in Bellona Italy would be considered vegan by today's standards. That is Bellona's business model. Our menu is posted on Open Table, google and our website. As to your point about the ratings are deceptive, those ratings are from guests who dined at Bellona, we have no control over that they post, good or bad.

   We're so excited to share our experience! We had the most amazing meal at Bellona on College. As vegetarians, it can be a challenge to find restaurants that offer great options, but Bellona exceeded our expectations! The sliders were delicious, the lemon pesto pasta was bursting with flavour, and the calzone was simply to die for! We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

   Really nice place and really good food. We had the eggplant sliders and calamari as appetizers. Two pasta dishes as mains and both were really good.

   We were very impressed with Bellona. Servers were kind. Food was delicious. Amazing all the vegan options. I also love that there was an offer on Plant Curious where you buy a pizza and get one free. Love that everything is made fresh in house.

   The service was amazing!!! Daniella was so friendly and personable and so attentive. An absolute delight. The food was so fresh, delicious and flavourful. We loved our experience. We all left very full and beyond satisfied with our meals. Highly recommend Bellona! We will definitely be back!

   The restaurant has a great atmosphere, perfect for a fun night out with friends. The music is not too loud, and the staff was attentive. The food was delicious, especially the vegetarian and vegan options. The starters, cocktails, and brownie with ice cream were all great. However, the tomato sauce they use for most of the dishes, like the bolognese, eggplant parmigiana, and puttanesca, is quite heavy. If you’re planning to try those plates, I recommend sharing.
