Great view with creative food that is also delicious — it’s a bit pricy but worth it if you’re up for some fine dining and celebrating a special event. There’s an area for large groups by the kitchen, some private dining rooms — and the bar is close to the restaurant and shares the same view and foods — so try that for a bit of a cost break. Valet parking at the hotel is a nice perk too!

With a restaurant within a 5-star luxury hotel, expectations for our Christmas Day Brunch ($$$) were high. To begin our experience, we tried to get a cocktail at the lobby area bar, however, our bartender greeted us, then ghosted us. We never got to order a $25 cocktail there…so, we left. We then went to the 20th floor restaurant for the “holiday brunch”. We were informally greeted and seated. Atmosphere was not particularly festive..could’ve been any day of the week. Brunch menu was pretty limited. Our server did his job but with no interest , warmth or personal connection to us. Very impersonal. We had mentioned that it was our 44th anniversary on our Open Table reservation, but no notice at all was made about that during our service. Food was just above average . We expected better, more caring and warm service and food that’s more than a notch above average for a hotel of this caliber.

Chirstmas eve buffett with oysters and caviar being the big pull for us. They were out of oysters shortly after getting there, i got two, and the same with the caviar. Rather disipointing.

This review addresses the Christmas eve buffet ONLY. The minuses: The Buffet area set up was lackluster. The blintzes for the caviar were miniature size. The Tempura asparagus had a taste of the frying oil. The Vegetable Gratin seems to have been sitting too long and was cold. The charcuterie and cheese boards were uninspiring . The tiny steak tartar/tuna bites very tasty but too small to enjoy with the crust. Desserts were plenty and pretty, but none was outstanding or memorable. Thee Beef Wellington was cooked well done and not available medium or medium rare, the crust was falling off and it lacked taste. The plusses: Service was attentive and excellent. The live music was very enjoyable and our table had a beautiful view. However, for the $150.00 per person (without drinks) I was expecting to have, at least, a properly cooked Wellington, and maybe one dish that was truly VOW!
